“Approach is not suitable for elderly people, need to walk about 400mtrs with luggage from public parking. Room is small but well kept, other than 2 side tables and a coffee stand and a double bed. there is no facility to hang clothes. Service is homely including meals, tea coffee etc. Bonus is personal ghat on Gangaji where you can offer Pooja and have bath in private. Overall experience was nice. Staff is friendly..//”

“This place is surrounded by lots & lots of trees. It's a perfect place to unwind yourself from the busy schedule and just relax with your family and friends. They have all stuff for indoor & outdoor games which keeps elders and kids busy. Rooms are large to accomodate 4-5 people. Rooms are clean. Service is good. You don't need AC in rooms. Food - the most important thing. It's highly recommended. Delicious, tasy homemade food makes your stay a memorable one. Radha cottage is approx 25 mins walking distance from matheran station and currently the road is all kaccha with red mud. So incase if you have elderly people may take pulling rickshaw or horse ride. E-auto is available from Aman lodge and only till matheran station. Walking from Aman lodge, or matheran station is fun but tiring. Me , my husband and 11 year son did walking from Aman lodge with all our luggage. We clicked lots of pics on the way. Our legs & stamina gave up as the road is steep but all the tiredness went away when we checked in to the hotel and when delicious food went into our tummy. There is Charlotte lake near to the hotel. Toy train is available only till matheran station but one needs to be available at ticket counter atleast 45-50 mins before the ticket counter opens.”

“Had the worst experience with this hotel and the staff!! Not even basic things were available in the room. No drinking water, AC didn't work. After complaining multiple times they shifted us to a different room. And then while going out for breakfast to Annapurna, the staff gave us coupons for breakfast since the breakfast was complementary. When we came back, another staff started harassing us to pay for the breakfast saying it wasn't included in the room charges. When we refused and left they kept calling us the next day from 6.30 am till 11 pm till we paid the extra charges. Total miscommunication among the staff and we had to suffer the consequences.”

“No hot water supply and Emergency backup in room Replying to your comment below- 1. Hot water was not available and that has been accepted from reception. Not commenting without knowing how to on hot water mode. And that was issue for the other customers also, not only for my room. 2. There was no heavy rainfall or wind on that day. And power was not there for 2 hrs. There is no relation between bad weather and having power backup.”

“One of the worst ever experience. The approach road is very dangerous and will give you goose bumps. It has breathtaking curves which will bring your heart in your mouth. It's almost a 3-4 km adventurous ride from the main road. The food was not upto the mark..no fruits or juice in the breakfast. Food preparation and variety needs huge improvement. Actually, it is fit for 2 star rating. . Room was very very cold.Cannot suggest anyone for accommodation here. There are many hotels much better than this on the main road.”

“From now on, whenewer in Delhi, only Sopan Heights hotel:) The location is fabulous: in the middle of a busy shopping area, but in a quiet corner, next to a small park. The staff is great. I will never forget how: 1) they kept our big luggage safe while we made small 2-3 days trips around (and were not in their hotel) 2) they got up in the dawn to say goodbye (organized taxi's before that, helped drives pack our luggahe) and give all of us the breakfast they packed for the journey (for free) ...And many other nice things that made our group feel like we are at home:)”

“Good quiet cozy hotel at the heart of the city with ample parking space. The hotel is located on the roadside and easily reachable. Nehru park metro station is about 500m from this place. There is a restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms were spacious and tidy. AC worked properly and the hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was included in the package. The room had a lot of mosquitoes owing to the open bathroom window. I informed the staff and they gave me a mortien but it did nothing to drive away the mosquitoes. The water occasionally turned brown in colour and smelled of some chemical disinfectant. Overall it was a good place to stay. Will visit again.”
