“Juara Beach Resort is a budget resort hotel at west of Juara Village, offering accommodation in wooden chalets on garden and beachfront. The resort's main complex houses a popular Chinese restaurant with large open deck facing the beach - ideal for breezy dining with a view of the sea. The chalets are semi-detached units built on stilts in traditional 'Kampung' style. Nestled on a grassy field surrounded by coconut trees, the chalet rooms are are well appointed and feature modern comforts such as air-conditioning and attached bathrooms with hot shower. 4WD transport between Tekek-Juara can be arranged for guests. A very typical Malaysian (kampung) village style of resort. Room need some refurbish especially the bathroom and shower. Front desk service is good. Food wise is on the slightly expensive side but taste is acceptable.”

“Booked two rooms from Agoda. When we arrived at the Hotel, it looks quite impressive from the outside. After we check-in, it was quite a disappointment. Hotel really needs refurbishing. It's very old and water mark seeps through the walls (paint peeling off, leaving a very ugly sight)! Room was rather dingy and my friends felt kind of eerie. Hence, we decided to check-out within 35 mins. after checking in. Hope the management take a serious look into this matter. Some kind of refurbishment needs to be done to upgrade the hotel.”

“Friendly staff. The hotel is located in a shoplot so they have 3 towers (i.e. 3 blocks of shoplot). I was looking for a hotel with a lift since I'm using crutches and my old mom couldn't walk that far so we wish to avoid stairs. So I called the hotel to check if it has any lift. Since it is in a shoplot, obviously they won't have any a lift so I asked if they have empty rooms at ground floor. Luckily they do. I booked around 8PM and we check in around 11PM on same night. Room, bed and mattress is clean and superb for a price of RM78 for a queen bed room with RM50 refundable deposit required. Rooms have no window. Water cooler & ironing facility provided at the lobby. Inside the room the mobile network signal strength is low. Digi & Celcom line has 0 signal, only Maxis is working. Luckily there's wifi. My only complaints are: 1) The wall is not sound proof. I can hear my dad in the next room praying Fajr prayer. 2) Room 613 has a leaky shower head resulting into the toilet floor getting wet all the time. While this might not matter for normal people but for me who is on crutches the tiles are really slippery to walk on. Luckily ada kerusi so I had to use chair to move inside the toilet. 3) Hotel should provide 2 different access cards for front door and room. Since if one person goes out he has to take the key in order to come in. Orang yg boleh jln nk tlg buka pintu kat org yg keluar tu xde masalah lah. Ni sbb kami pon susah nk berjalan. Yg tinggal dlm bilik tu terpaksalah xde letrik, kegelapan & kepanasan bila yg seorang keluar. Ada jugak receptionist tlg bukakan pintu depan utk adik sy but it is kind of inconvenient nk menyusahkan dia nk jln dr block sebelah nk bukakan pintu utk kita. Overall everything else is satisfactory. I recommend a stay here if you just need a bed to sleep. Space-wise it is quite small, nak solat pun agak sempit. Tp sbb sy solat duduk atas katil jadi takda masalah lah for me but for other, it is quite tight. But then again i believe there're bigger rooms upstairs but since we want ground floor, this is good enough.”

“Very nice place to stay in.. cheap and the location is great. The staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I stayed there for five nights. You can find all that you need just a couple of minutes away from the hostel. The capsule itself is good.. the mattress was cozy and inside the capsule there were some equipment like lights, blue soft light, aircon, mirror, socket and digital clock. Unfortunately even there was a locker but I couldn't use it. The shower area was clean all the time and there is a terrace on the rooftop where you can see the Petronas twin towers. I could do my laundry and I felt like being at home. There is a smoking area. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap yet acceptable and clean hostel then you are in the right place. Greetings from Morocco to Boy the receptionist and the kind chamber maids... I will be back someday .”

“Me and my wife just arrive from Sarawak this afternoon and suppose to check in today (04.04.2023). When we got there the receptionist said that our booking wasn't paid to them and the hotel wasn't own by OYO anymore. And my in laws suppose to arrive at 10pm later. What was we suppose to do. They can't even refund no direct us to other hotel after that disappointment. I wasn't gonna give a bad review the but hotel should at least tell us that out booking has been cancel or this kind of thing could happen to anyone else. This experience should never happen to a paid customer like me and my wife. This is the last time we choose OYO.”

“You simply have to score this in relation to the purpose of the hotel. This is obviously meant to be a cheap and easy spot for those who need to sleep and shower. That's about what to expect here without much else. You have some towels, all purpose soap and a water warmer and that's about it. There is a water dispenser in the hall and the nice rain shower doesn't have a strong flow but is good. The AC takes some time to cool things down and the beds are a bit hard. That said, it serves its purpose just fine. Lots of small shops and restaurants all around which is a plus.”
