“Unfortunately this hotel cant be considered as a 4-star hotel. Best case this is a 3-star, if you will get the room we have its 2-stars. The faucet in bathroom is not working its closing on its own, the sink seems to be broken cause its leaking water all over the place, the toilet is smelly even after cleaning and the bedding could have been better. The towels are more grey than white. And the internet is like from previous era. Its not working. I tried to download my son's homewroks for 2 days with no success. This is not a hotel for family stay, for students maybe. There is still garbage on the floor even after cleaning. Worst stay ever. Wont recommend.”

“Unbelievably awesome hostel in Barcelona, hands down the best! Gotta give a massive shoutout to Steph, her energy totally rocked the pubcrawl and brought everyone together. Steph is seriously amazing! The vibes were crazy good—impossible not to dig. Also, big thanks to Lucia at the front desk for the kickass service and fantastic Barcelona tips. Right from the start, Lucia made us feel super welcome, always in the best mood. Big ups to Bambu for the insanely delicious paella and the awesome energy both during the pubcrawl and around the hostel!”

“Excellent, quiet and safe location, very close to the sea, nice bars, restaurants and the Gothic quarter as well as with other sites of interest. The breakfast more than enough, with everything you need no matter your preference. Very fresh and well cooked food, large variety and healthy choices. The Gym quite nice too. The rooms very clean and with plenty of natural light. Big and convenient bathroom. The staff extremely kind and helpful. Especially Jorge was there for us in every need and every question we had. Excellent professional! We thank him from heart! Only two weaknesses of the hotel:1) not having a small fridge in the rooms, 2) only one elevator. These are the only two things that keeping me from giving a full 5 stars rate.”

“When I started reading the negative reviews, I was close to cancel my booking. Thankfully I didn’t. I‘m so surprised of what this budget hotel has to offer. I especially like the lady with her smiling face, that brings fresh bread and crispy croissants to my table every morning. I like how perfectly tidy they managed to do my room every time I come back from breakfast. I like the location super close to the sea. I like the shower and the Mediterranean look of my room. I like the other guests of the hotel, mostly families or elderly traveling together. Everyone’s so respectful with each other. This is definitely the spot to calm down. I‘m happy I‘m here.”

“Had a 3 night stay here with my 2 kids. The room was basic but had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, 2 min walk to La ramblas at the bottom end. Really enjoyed it and would recommend if your looking for an affordable, basic central room.”

“For a 2* hotel, I am very impressed... The hotel, pool area and rooms are very clean. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to all the bars and restaurants, yet its still peaceful at night time. The beach is also very close, but the pool is lovely and refreshing. All in all, I believe this little hotel is a gem and worthy of more than 2 stars. I would absolutely recommend and wouldn't hesitate in booking here again in the future, if I were to return to Calella. Thank you for such a lovely stay. We are lucky enough to still have another week, but I will be sad to leave.”
