“The most beautiful and well-maintained park we have been to so far. The staff clearly takes pride in this place. Lots of trees. The grass was freshly mowed. The sites and bath houses were clean. The pool was large and clean. Even the annual sites are neat. My only complaint is that the seasonal guests were rude. We are not noisy or rude visitors. One lady yelled at me that kids had run through her site. No ma'am, my kids were all on my golf cart with me. Another neighbor complained because kids playing in my site made their dogs bark. Sorry. Your dogs are your problem. The staff is mostly friendly, except the horse handler seemed grumpy. We loved the farm animals and treats are available in the store for a fair price. All in all, we would visit again but probably camp on the other side of the park.”

“Centrally located by cemetery, Jennie Wade home, museums, resturants, tours. Easy walk. Staff not very helpful or knowledgeable, we had a bus tour and asked for directions and told they didn't know yet our check in was 2 shops down and pick up/drop off next lot over. Bed horrible definitely needs replacing. Balcony overlooks parking lot and buildings with air conditioner between seating. Breakfast simple.”

“The Fairfield inn was as described by others on Google which is why we choose this location to stay. The hotel is simple but nice not luxurious, rooms were as described and neat and clean and the staff were very helpful and nice... The breakfast was very generous for a motel and they have coffee/tea/hot water 24hrs a day for free in the lobby. They have a mini mart as well with some basics if you would need, but it's situated near lots of stores... Would stay here again and recommend you to we'll.”

“One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a very long time. All of the employees provided a warm welcome upon check in. Plenty of vending machine options if a late night snack is needed. I was traveling with family- the staff always made sure to provide any accommodation and were very easy to work with. Delicious free breakfast options and the room was very clean and I had no issues in terms of amenities or showers. This will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I am in the area.”

“The hotel has a slight different floor plan to many of the hotels we have stayed at. The counter to check in was off to the right and was unique. The location of the elevators were extremely convenient and very centralized. The room we booked was a king suite. This room had a separate living room and bedroom. Thus provides a noise reduction and buffer area. The room was clean and well appointed. All of the provided toiletry dispensers were filled up. The bed, sofa and chairs were all comfortable. In all I would gladly stay again.”

“Bill Marriott would be so embarrassed! Was so upset when I saw the disaster of a room we were given. We walked in exhausted at 11 pm without a reservation (I thought we made one, but I guess it never went through). So didn't expect anything fancy. We got a first-floor handicapped room. Moldy shower curtain, rusty tub, gross shower head, peeling wallpaper, and the privacy curtain (1st floor looking out to parking lot) had a large gash that you could tell they tried to repair. With blue duct tape. Not clear. Not white. Blue. Had to change in the bathroom or in the dark. I know they are under construction but either give us a renovated room or say no vacancy. Location fine for what we needed. Didn't bother to ask for room change b/c in for less than 7 hours and kids already unpacked by the time I got into the bathroom.”

“The Days Inn in Somerset is a basic accommodation along the PA turnpike. The room was clean and there were no bugs. The floor was resilient plank instead of carpet, which is nice. Furnishings were a bit weathered, but the mattress was comfy. Community spaces are small but adequate, and there are waffles in the morning. It's everything I paid for, and it got me through the night just fine with no complaints.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Unless you want to throw away $100. My bf and I recently stayed here. The first room was filled with cigarette ashes and the bathroom was disgusting. The sheets had a brown/red residue on it. The guy at the counter couldn’t even process our credit cards so we had to pay cash. We complained about the room so they moved us. Mind you, we wanted to stay in a Jacuzzi room and made that point to the guy at the counter. We get to our second room and once again, same complaints and this time, there was a spilled drink in the fridge and urine in the toilet bowl. The guy at the counter told the maid about it and she was screaming that she had to “clean the room again” but it wasn’t clean. We went back after 30 mins and the room smelled like it was clean with a dirty mop. We decided to fill the jacuzzi to see if it worked. It did not. We went to the front desk after paying $185 and the $100 deposit for the room with the Jacuzzi the counter man then proceeds to tell my bf the Jacuzzis don’t work. My bf was upset bc knowing the jacuzzis don’t work we would have gotten a different room. My bf then asked the counter guy to call the owner who agreed to give us $185 back and we could stay for the night. 2 hours later a knock at the door from a very rude girl screaming asking if we were checking out bc she has us as checked out. She called the owner and the owner told her to call the cops on us. We were not being loud, we were not doing anything wrong. We were over there for a wedding. We ended up leaving after the cops showed up and they did not refund us the $100. They also had bugs on the side of the building and dirty carpets rolled up and the place smelled like mold. These reviews they had on here are NOT what the place is. There was even a moment at check in where there was a person who seemed to be very visible on drugs was running around the lobby but they did not call the cops on them. The place looks like the business is going under. DO NOT let these reviews fool you. I am an idiot bc i booked solely bc the reviews seemed good. Do NOT book here. PS. We did not attend the wedding due to all the stress of this.”
