“After camping all week we felt it would be nice to catch a nice sleep/shower before exploring Bar Harbor. It was everything we wanted and more for a one night stay. Very clean, spacious, provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, breakfast in the morning, and great service at the front desk. The hotel was quiet and had plenty of parking. Very safe. I will say the honorable mention was the hotel breakfast. We never expect much but there’s was above average. Lots of pastries, small premade omelets plus your other normal sausage, cereal, fruit, juice and bagels. We were really happy with our stay and it capped a wonderful vacation positively. We would be back.”

“We booked this hotel originally because we got a great deal we typically stick to Hyatt. That being said, we were incredibly impressed with this hotel. It has been recently updated, and far exceeds it's competition price wise in my opinion. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was better than any other hotel in this category we've stayed at by a mile. There seemed to be a far more diverse buffet than most hotels offer. We also had a room on the corner of the 4th floor, there was some aviation noise, which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Can't say enough good stuff about this hotel. Location is ideal, easy walking distance to restaurants and stores. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The decor is modern and stylish. Beds were comfortable. Free cookies and water in the lobby. Don't snooze on the free breakfast, it is ample and of good quality. If in Portsmouth, consider staying here”

“Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. Just everything about it - location, service, cleanliness. The organization of ordering breakfast/linens was so smooth. Breakfast itself was a lifesaver for a quick start to our day and enough food to pack along for snacks throughout our day! Bed was very comfortable as well. And close access to ice machine/water/drinks, even popcorn!! Our first visit to Acadia was magical thanks to the Highbrook Motel :)”

“Dump. Loud nasty dump. There were about 30 utility trucks outside for line crews and they slammed every door and stopped just as hard as they possibly could. No efforts were made to quiet the hotel whatsoever. If you plan on staying several days just understand they won't clean your room while you're there. You are on your own”

“Perfect spot for us. My husband was doing some training for the State of Maine and this property was close by. Upgraded to a King Suite and that was appreciated. Guest laundry was clean and the machines were clean as well. Good breakfast with lots of options. Coffee/tea in the lobby for most of the day. Lots of restaurants nearby.”
