“it's an okay hotel. Spent 4 days here. Upon arrival the staff was not very friendly, more businesslike. When we arrived in the room, suspicious stains were immediately visible. In addition, there are also blood spatters on the lampshade. We were also not in the room we booked. We had booked a double room, but the room we ended up in was a family room for four people. Not a big deal, but it is nice if you are told this upon arrival. Beds were good. But it was way too hot in the room and hallway. When you came back from a walk it was like stepping into a sauna when you walked into the hallway. We have opened the balcony door a lot to make it a bit cooler. The hotel room was not cleaned on the second day, while the cleaning lady was busy in the hallway with other rooms. That's just a shame when you come back after a long day and the hotel room has not been taken care of. We also ran into a bit of trouble with the towels. There is no Do Not Disturb or Please Clean sign. The breakfast is simple, but tasty. The hot products such as eggs and bacon are not kept warm very well. So it is more lukewarm than warm.”

“The service I received today really required restraint on my part. My company gave me food voucher which can only be used on that restaurant, today I wished the voucher could be used elsewhere as well cause I would have left. All waiters avoided me like the plague. Seeing patrons who arrived after me being served before me was frustrating. I finally got fed up and ordered while the waiter was standing so far from me, I practically had to shout my order. I am definitely informing my company.”

“Great place to unwind! The surrounding is really breathtaking: massive full grown wood with variety of walking paths that leads you to quiet and peaceful beach. The staff is really wonderful with family spirit and personal touch. Make sure that you include the dining package in your reservation: the meal is delicious and the service is excellent. Highly recommend!”

“Would absolutely recommend. Right around the corner from the wilder parts of Leidseplein where location is perfect to live, so it was a nice quiet stay while being close to the fun! Our bed were very comfortable and the room is fine. The downfalls were; we didn't have a window to open and there were no refrigerator.”

“i booked my rooms in may for a stay in november at a very reasonable price. however upon my arrival the manager asked for 60% more as the room was worth that amount. i had tried to contact the hotel prior to my arrival on several occasions both by email and telephone, no one got back to me. i found out that my original booking had been let to another person and i had to put up with a tiny shoe box room. will never stay in this place ever again. absolutely disgusted.”

“The Hotel is nice, newly renovated. The staff is friendly and courtesy. They help with my Dutch greetings. It took the the two weeks of being there, but I got it. The food was good with very nice presentation. See the pics, but I forgot to snap the menu to connect the dish with a name. Also it is conveniently located at the harbor on walking distance to everywhere you will likely want to go. Yes its a small town so everything is walking distance, but this is close to the essentials. Again, it a ni e hotel and I would recommend.”

“A nice and comfy hotel just a shot away from the sea. The room was super clean and relatively spacious for the price paid. The bathtub was great! Staff is very friendly and speaks English and German fluently. The breakfast was extremely good, and the beers/snacks were on self-service by night at the bat, very nice to start nicely your evening ☺️ And there is a free parking a couple of blocks away!”

“The hotel we stayed at for two consecutive years. Despite finding slightly cheaper options nearby when looking for a hotel this year, we willingly chose this hotel again. We didn't know that the room would be smaller this year compared to the much larger one we had last year. The hotel has an excellent location. You can enjoy complimentary 24/7 coffee and tea service in the lobby. For those interested, there's a paid breakfast service available. The hotel provides discounted cards for activities in Amsterdam. I would like to express special thanks to Alperen and Daria, who assisted us during our stay. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. Additional note: When you go to the back garden of the hotel to have coffee, a white cat might come to visit. If it does, please treat it kindly and enjoy the moment :)”
