“Britt Sissel & team did a great job. Best managed hotel on our Norway trip. High quality food both at breakfast and at dinner. Space to relax for hotel guests. Nice and contemporary interior preserving some of the place’s heritage. While the place is by nature not prepared for strollers (we knew beforehand) they tried to support as much as possible. Thanks for the great hospitality!”

Hotel Verdandi Oslo

Tordenskiolds gate 6b, 0160 Oslo, Norway

“The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the central station. It is quite close to the central park and castle. There are plenty of dining options nearby and they have their own restaurant. They have a self check-in with staff available should you need it. The hotel has had quite a bit of remodeling done during the last couple years. It is clean and modern and the rooms are a decent size. My room happened to be an accessibility room meaning it was laid out for someone in a wheelchair. The beds and temperature were comfortable. Breakfast is available at their restaurant if you paid for it. I did not so I cannot say how the quality was there. Overall though, I was happy with this hotel and can recommend it. The reason for the lower star rating on the service is mainly due to the fact that it seems to have an emphasis more on self-service. The one time I did speak to a staff member, they were friendly.”

Scandic Hammerfest
4.1
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 08:00 AM

Sørøygata 15, 9600 Hammerfest, Norway

“The hotel is nicely located in Hammerfest right down by the water, but this was also the best. The internet didn't work when we arrived so we couldn't finish the working day here, no restaurant in the hotel and a lot of boring and sad hotel really. The room had a temperature of 24 degrees when I arrived, which was also much too hot. Worst Scandic hotel I have ever been to.”

Kinn Hotell Florø

Havrenesvegen 32B, 6905 Florø, Norway

“Other than the location that is too far from the city center, this hotel really brings the best of its beauty, hospitality, and the food it provides. The room was compact, practical, and tidy. The TV in the room was surprisingly extra large for such a small room. The breakfast was unbelievably amazing! Even though it opens at 6 as per the information, it was ready since 5. The variety of the menu provided was another surprise for me. It had almost everything that a 5-star hotel would have. This was even better than staying in the city center's hotels.”

Thon Partner Hotel Førde

Hafstadvegen 26, 6800 Førde, Norway

“Excellent beds, have arthritis so a good bed is a perc. Everything clean and neat. Great service. Buffet dinner/dessert was really good. Ate too much. The hotel was nicely decorated with plush sofas and relaxing art and atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing. Ate too much there also. The hotel made a great site for old friends having a retreat ❤️”

Rondanevegen 1264, 2674 Otta, Norway

“Positives-Beautiful location. The reception staff were warm and welcoming. The Dinner was great though the serving size was small and expensive (like everything in Norway). Great breakfast. Staff were all attentive. The communal lounge area by the fire cozy. Negatives-the constant door slamming from guests drives you mad and some made the whole room vibrate and shake significantly. Common areas from, dark and oppressive. Our “suite” was disappointing. It overlooked a carpark. The furnishings are cheap and minimal and to be honest, In need of some serious TLC. No tea or coffee in the room, no iron, no soap in the bathroom. We didn’t expect luxury but just a bit of thought could make this hotel better with minimal expense”

First Hotel Breiseth

Jernbanegata 1-5, 2609 Lillehammer, Norway

“Blast from the past. A bit overpriced but got good night sleep. A bit of renovation - you could get a fine hotel. The oldest part of the hotel looks the nicest but the "never" part is a bit dustyrustymusky. With a bit of design, light reno i think the rooms would be very nice. Breakfast def. not the worst, not the best glutein free bread and oatyughurt available :) Staff is very nice!”

Fjordslottet Hotel

Osterøyvegen 2715, 5283 Fotlandsvåg, Norway

“Very nice hotel. Excellent service and really good food. Rooms are nice too. Beds are too narrow for 2 persons. Very stylish accommodation. Wifi coverage is extremely poor. The shower is not great due to very old fashioned plastic shower curtan. Breakfast is nice with a lot of choices.”

Kysthotellet Rørvik As

Hardanger Hotel

Eitrheimsvegen 13, 5750 Odda, Norway

“I'm not sure why this hotel gets good reviews other than it was clean. The hotel is very dated and is really basic. The breakfast was reasonable although all warm foods were of poor quality. For half the price I would have been reasonably happy but for the same price you can stay in the Tyssedal Hotel which is far superior and only 10 minutes down the road. Please don't book the Hardanger unless you want to pay over the odds for a budget hotel.”
