“We loved the hotel, pool was beautiful and the location great. The room was smallish but very clean, with a comfortable bed and nice balcony. The staff were very helpful and nothing was a bother. The only major downside of this hotel is the outdoor club that goes from 12am-6am in the vacant block right behind the hotel. If your room backs onto this as ours did, good luck sleeping Thurs-Sat night. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the nightclub.”

Super nice hosts,helpful,upstairs have ac,ceiling fan below,pool,right in the middle of the night market,be nice the the night man he is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! Stay with locals forget that yuppy crowd down the other end lol! Plenty to see and do all around,enjoy!”

“Reserved a room on the phone and they said it would be $1300. Once I got to the hotel they told us it would be $1650 which is $350 pesos more. Rooms were dirty even saw roaches crawling under a mirror. Beds were uncomfortable. Loud bar next door which keeps you from sleeping. Bathroom was very dirty and small as well. Only nice this was the location employees were also pretty nice.”

“Such a well kept hotel, the double room may be small for some but has all you need. And I have to appreciate the 2 bottles water daily, truly rare these day. Loved the quiet street (but still about 3 blocks from the centre), the courtyard, the terrace. All thumbs up!”

“Great location! Manuel was very accommodating and friendly. Always had a smile on his face. We stayed in room 5(not recommended) which faces the street. The noise from La Esmeralda is quite loud until 1-2am. We had to have the fan on so that it would drown out the noise. The AC was fantastic 😊. Showers were always hit or miss when is comes to hot water as the water is solar powered. Pressure wasn't that great either. Price was very reasonable. You do have to put a deposit down which is standard everywhere which we got back upon checking out. Stayed for a week and had the room serviced twice. All in all pretty run of the mill experience.”

“Oct 2022: super friendly and helpful staff. Overnight guy a little grumpy; probably cuz it's the overnight shift. Hotel doors close at 11pm. Great location, easy walk to Centro, Rinconada, Playa Principal and Playa Manzanilla. In nice quiet neighborhood. No night life, if that's your thing. Room good, nothing great. Good AC. Power went out a few times, but staff quickly got it back on. I stayed here because price/value is good. But then after a week, glad I decided to spend the extra 400 pesos for another hotel. It's a good hotel. Depends what ur looking for”
