“A great experience. The staff were welcoming, professional, courteous and helpful. The location was perfect and very near the beach and shopping areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a great view of the city. The shower was also super and a fridge, complimentary coffee were provided. I can't fault the hotel at all. It was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it.”

“This hotel is fantastic to stay at. The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. You feel so welcome as a returning guest too. The rooms are comfortable, have air conditioning and the breakfast is good too. The hotel is nice and quiet. The hotel is very well located, moments from the centre of town, and the beach. “The hotel is neat and clean. The coffee is great. The owner does his best to speak some words in your own language, which is definitely nice. There is free WiFi and the breakfast is good. My single room was not big but everything was there. There are plenty of free parking spaces. A train station is close by, as is the railway. That is a disadvantage, although it does not bother you much. The pool looks great. The beach is at your doorstep. There is also a busy road next to the hotel. With the sliding doors closed you will not hear anything, the rooms are well insulated. I came here in the spring and came for the Formula 1 Grand Prix but I think you can have a nice summer holiday here”

“We have stayed at this hotel about 15 times in the last 22 years.Why do we keep coming back? The service is consistently impeccable, the breakfast range is huge and items are freshly homecooked/baked; rooms are maintained in spotless condition; prices are very reasonable: a big advantage is that there are free to use self-service laundry facilities which cuts down on suitcase weight. Iron aircon is noise less and efficient on economy setting. Many rooms have sea views with no extra charge. I could go on......”

“A very comfortable hotel in a good location, close to the beach and to the old town, and great staff. A excellent breakfast, a nice balcony and a nice pool area. Enjoyed the beach and beach side restaurants very close to the hotel, walked to and explored the old town, enjoyed the wine festival, loved wandering the narrow streets and La Rambla and visiting the beautiful Roman aqueduct just a couple of kilometres out of town.”

“Overall good value for the price. Great location and small quiet hotel, not too far from the centre but far enough to have a restful stay. The hotel itself is a bit dated which could seem question of style if not for the overall weariness of furniture and decor. The rooms were quite OK, comfortable and neat, room service was perfect but a big down side was the smelly bathroom (old piping probably?) - the smell went away after the room service but came back couple hours later. Free wifi was OK. AC was OK. Breakfast: big choice both sweet and savory. Good choice of bread, fresh fruit, milk (vegan, lactose-free etc). Coffee on the other hand was terrible. Given the fact that charcuterie is one of the region's specialties, I would expect better selection for breakfast - out of probably 10 kinds to choose from, 1-2 were of good quality. The same for the cheese. Dinner: served late, we only went once and did not come back. Again: good choice but the quality could be better. Not very bad though. Given the great choice of local restaurants in the area, I would suggest simply getting a stay with no food.”

“Beautiful hotel with good service and management. The buffet is extensive and the breakfast is fantastic. There is a nice lounge at the rear of the hotel where you can relax and on weekends there is a DJ every now and then, it really is a party. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are amazing. Owned by 2 very nice gentlemen who will take care of everything you need if asked for. It bothers me that there are bad reviews about animals or bad treatments, There are no animals what so ever, everything was very clean and well kept! If people got treated bad, maybe they should look at their own standards. For us it was a great experience and we will definitely come back because we had a great holiday!”

“This is a lovely 3 star hotel. It dates from the 60s so please expect this and take this into account, it is not ultra modern. However after saying that this does not distract from it's charm. The hotel is comfortable, there is a fantastic pool aswell as other great leisure activities such as table tennis, a tennis court, boules pitch, poolside bar and indoor games room. It's a hotel well suited to couples and families alike. Maybe not a hotel for those intent on a wild nightlife etc. The food at the breakfast bar and evening meal was excellent. The beach is only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. Finally, the staff make the difference here. Friendly, welcoming, efficient and appreciative of their guests. They put an extra star on for me. I would recommend this hotel.”

“A classic case of “you get what you pay for”. The room is ok, no tea or coffee making facilities but a comfortable (if not squeaky) bed and a decently sized shower. The location is great, being just a 2 minute walk from La Rambla. We spent a pleasant 3 nights here and were able to visit the city on foot and with nearby transport links.”

“The rooms are very spacious and cleaned on a daily basis. The balconies are big with amazing views depending on what side you are on. Had a very warm welcome from the reception staff. All the other staff from cleaners, kitchen, and bar staff are all polite. The entertainment staff was amazing and went above and beyond to interact with all guests during the day with pool activities and on the evening entertainment. There were multiple times i were laughing uncontrollably. The hotel's location is a 10 - to 15-minute walk to local beaches as well as an amazing 45 walk-in to main salou. There are also bus stops right outside the hotel's front doors to take you where you may want to go. It's also in local distance to theme parks and water parks. I spent 10 days here and I will be going back.”

“While the hotel property is stunning, it was very difficult to sleep at this hotel. The walls are paper thin - not only could we hear our neighbors coming home and talking at 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM, we could even hear them watching tiktoks on their phones. Really not their fault, the walls just offered no insulation from sound. The mattress was also very thin and rock hard, which made it difficult to stay asleep. I feel guilty leaving this review because the hotel itself is so cute, gorgeous views, great buffet breakfast, kind staff and a nice value, but we did not sleep for three nights and felt compelled to share.”

“The location is great, near everything. It looks quite clean too. However, the rooms are ridiculously small. You can not open your suitcase and walk around at the same time. No soundproofing AT ALL!! The side rooms are sooo noisy, as if there are no windows at all. Also, no heating... For the price not worth it ...never again...”

“I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. We stayed for 6 nights in busy July. First of all the location is perfect - within 5 minutes you are on the main beachfront street of Cadaques but the hotel feels very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The room was great (one small comment would be the air conditioning was a tad noisy - I imagine this would be an issue for some people but it didn't bother us), really clean and spacious with everything you need. Comfortable bed, nice shower and good storage space. The pool area was beautiful, really well maintained and perfect to sit out all day. The terrace area was also so lovely, we never had breakfast but sat out with drinks in the evening and had a sandwich one or two days for lunch. The offering was small but suited us all we ate mostly in Cadaques. Polite, friendly and professional staff everyday. It was a pleasure to stay here and I would definitely recommend it.”
