“We checked in on August 6th at around 6pm for just 1 night. Is is a small hotel that looks like a run down office building from the outside. When you arrive it is actually pretty modern on the inside. I was advised by the agent at the front desk that they had only opened up 10 days before my arrival. We were charge 12 EUR for parking in their garage. We were advised that the front door would lock at 11pm but we could open it with the room key. The room is very modern and minimalist but you can see that the wood furniture is not new as it has scratches, etc. The bathroom only has 1 small light bulb and there are no toiletries offered. They have a liquid soap compartment by the sink wall and another one at the shower wall, so you have to wash your hair with soap. The towel hooks are coming out from the marble wall, like they are ready to fall. There is no phone in the room or fridge. The worst part is that after we checked in we left right away to visit the area and came back at midnight. When we arrive we notice that the A/C was not working and the room was very hot as the temperature outside was around 85F degrees. We played around with the thermostat settings and kept getting an error message on the display screen. I went downstairs to try and find somebody to help us and there is absolutely nobody in charge after 11pm. I called the ALDA hotels number from my cel and no answer, I sent an email through their website and they have still not answered. The temperature in the hallways was like an oven, no A/C either. After a horrible night of no sleep I went down to the front desk to complaint and they said that they had advised us upon check in that they had written a phone number on the key envelope for any emergency, which we saw but did not think it was a phone number due to the amount of digits but they never informed us of that. We requested to speak to a supervisor but the front desk person said there was no supervisor around, she would not agree to any kind of credit back on my room charge either. Is very obvious that this hotel has opened their doors before finishing the work and they still have a lot of issues to work out to be considered a hotel, starting with employees trained in good customer service.”
