“Wonderful stay centrally located in Old Quebec. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of USB outlets. Beds are firm. Housekeeping was very attentive and detailed in maintaining our rooms. Our family enjoyed the lounge for games, puzzles and coffees. The in room breakfast service was a top notch treat. During our stay our host and front desk clerk Pierrot was obliging and helpful with recommendations and assisting with services. It was always a delight to see him in the evening. We had an early departure at 430A and he was kind enough to not only arrange taxi services for two cars but also make sure to send us with breakfast care packages for our travels. We would happily stay here any time.”

“We stayed two nights. If you have allergies this hotel is great. No curtain's the blackout blinds are fantastic not a stitch of light comes through. Plenty of hard surfaces. Bathroom tub is clean and bigger than normal. Door to the bathroom is a sliding which is amazing because the bathroom feels so much bigger. Breakfast was just enough choices. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I hope to see more of these on our future trips.”

“We booked for two nights (King size with a pullout bed). A convenience location and the room was spacious and clean. Both the bed and pullout bed were comfortable. The front desk team is fantastic, and they try to help you above and beyond. They offered us a Taxi or restaurant booking. Special mention to their restaurant Le Bistango; it's truly a hidden gem. The food was so good that they should earn at least two Michelle stars. We will definitely come back again.”

“Very good place to stay. Very comfortable rooms. I had a little difficulty with the temperature control (too hot or too cold). A lot of services (pool, gym, EV recharge). The BIG downside is everything is single use at breakfast... very disapointed.”

“We stayed 4 nights. Room was with queen bed and murphy bed. Size was great. The room floors were not clean. Originally we booked for 3 nights but on arrival we asked if we could add a night....this was done but we find out at checkout the room cost was $20 more for the 4th night. We were not advised of this. Room service is only every two days and this is just to refresh towels and accessories...no cleaning, no change of bed sheets. Totally unacceptable for the rates charged. At check out we asked to speak to the manager. A young gentleman steps up with an attitude of a king...when we share our experience he merely smiles and states it is what it is. His name is William...he did not want to share his last name. So arrogant; he should not be in any leadership role whatsoever. We will not be returning to this hotel!”

“About two months ago, my husband, our 5-month-old Labrador puppy, and I booked a stay at the Holiday Inn in Gatineau for the 2024 New Year holiday. The hotel was advertised as pet-friendly, and upon check-in, the front desk specified that it was a SMALL PET hotel. We stayed for one night without any issues. However, on the second night, New Year's Eve, around 8 pm, our experience took a nightmarish turn. The reception knocked on our door, offering three unacceptable options: 1) Leave the hotel due to our puppy exceeding their undisclosed weight limits, 2) Leave the dog outside in freezing temperatures (-7°C with a feels-like of -10°C), or 3) Face police involvement. The demand to leave our puppy outside in such harsh weather was not only embarrassing but also potentially life-threatening for our little one. Despite having checked in correctly, we were confronted with this unreasonable ultimatum. Efforts to speak with the hotel manager were futile as they claimed the manager was unavailable and subsequently called the police, showcasing a lack of responsible behavior. Holiday Inn customer service was equally shocked by the hotel's actions. When the police arrived, they confirmed our puppy was within the specified limits and well-behaved. Despite this, the hotel manager insisted on evicting us, even threatening an extra fee for pet hair cleaning, without inspecting the room. The hotel's refusal to provide the check-in documents added further frustration. This traumatic incident left lasting effects on my family, causing anxiety, severe illness, and even depression for our dog. To make matters worse, the hotel charged an additional $250 for having a pet in a supposedly pet-friendly environment. Despite reporting the issue to Holiday Inn customer service, their lack of intervention is disheartening. It is deeply disappointing that a hotel in Canada, known for its animal-friendly culture, would subject us to such treatment on New Year's Eve. I plan to take legal action against those responsible and will contact animal protection services. This experience reflects poorly on the Holiday Inn brand, as they allowed their staff to mistreat guests without cause, especially during a time as significant as New Year's Eve.”

“This is a smaller hotel, spotlessly clean. Furnishing is functional and comfortable. I loved the non carpeted rooms. We had a one bedroom suite and it couldn't have been any better or more comfortable. The only thing I wasn't comfortable with was the parking ($), which is at a dark lot about a half block from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and I appreciated them asking at checkout if there were any issues with the room.”

“PATHETIC EXPERIENCE AT THE PLACE…PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK AT THIS PLACE.They say it’s a valet and secure parking but there is no guarantee of the same. My car was vandalized during my trip with my wife to the hotel. To add to the misery the hotel staff including their director showed absolutely no empathy and all they could say and try to prove was that they are not responsible for the break in and they can’t help me whatsoever. I am not talking about only monetary value but zero empathy from the staff made this situation even more miserable. I would only say Sheila was the lady at the reception who was really helpful and showed empathy towards us . She really gave us lot of strength and showed empathy which helps so much in these situations. Thank you so much Sheila for that and also to the guy who helped in putting the plastic wrap on the broken window. I can send pics of the vandalism as well just if anybody wants to see. Wont recommend this hotel to anyone. Cleaning in my room was also done just once in my 3 nights stay. And also to let everyone know breakfast is the same everyday and they simply heat it and put it up everyday . None of the.breakfast stuff is made in the kitchen. Overall I would have given the hotel a zero rating if that was possible here. Worst 2 days of my trip ever with so much additional money spent on repairs as well.”

“Great location for holiday events! We really enjoyed our stay, the video doesn't do the room justice. We loved the reclaimed brick in our room, the view was lovely, the bathrom was very modern, and the bar downstairs had a great aesthetic. We would absolutely return again. The only thing I'd say we didn't like was that it was a little hard to control the water temperature in the shower, the teensiest move in either direction resulted in freezing cold or scorching hot.”

The location is great because it's right at the bottom of the hill, so it's away from the busyness of the heart of the village and close to the lift. I left my car parked at the hotel and just walked around the village. Would definitely stay there again.”

“The Rawdon Golf Resort is an absolute gem! The rooms are clean, really beautifully designed, and the bedding is so comfortable. The owner has thought of every little detail, including black-out curtains if needed and a gas fireplace for cool nights. The staff went out of their way to include an extra pullout bed in our way to accommodate our kids. There is golfing right across the street and a great restaurant “Gordie’s” which is super convenient. It’s also not too far from Spa Nordique, which is the absolute best spa I’ve ever been to. If you are traveling through the area, don’t hesitate to stay here. You will not regret it.”

“Flew in and took a shuttle from the airport hoping to leave my luggage with the front desk but instead was offered an early, like really early check in. This definitely made my travel plans much better as I was able to settle in earlier and get my day going. Damian was working the desk and he was accommodating and welcoming. The room I had was modernized, clean and very spacious. Breakfast buffet is in the lobby & consists of croissants (the best one being chocolate croissants), muffins, cereal, eggs (boiled, scrambled or cheese omelette), oatmeal, meat that changed daily (I had turkey sausage one day and bacon the other), potatoes (home fries), waffle station, yogurt, coffee, tea, fruits, bread/bagel station & a juice station. After eating, you can leave the plates at the return station where cutlery and plating is sorted. Gym was on the 6th floor where you can also fill your water bottle. The gym was good for a hotel gym, empty most times which was great, lots of machines. I had a short but pleasant stay here. Definitely recommend.”

“We really liked this place. It's a real jewel here on the island. The view is amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There's both an indoor and an outdoor pool, as well as a game room (ping pong, pool, chess, foosball table, etc). The restaurant patio area is covered and has a wonderful view of the river. The room was a bit older, but most importantly it was clean. We had a view of the pool and river. A nice touch was the little table and chairs outside of each room facing the river. It was a wonderful spot to relax in the evening or catch the morning sunshine with a cup of coffee. Overall very happy with my stay and would highly recommend.”
