“Went with my husband and 1 year old daughter to do the Hershey Christmas activities for the weekend. This hotel was about 20 minutes away but worth a little extra driving to have the 1 bedroom suite, included breakfast, pool, etc. Hotel was clean and everything about our stay went smoothly. The staff were all especially nice and went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay - you can tell they have a good culture within the employees there. Would definitely stay again!”

“Very nice and clean rooms although bit on the smaller side. Nonetheless, we were able to fit our pack-n-play in for out 2yo, so all good. Breakfast was quite good with nice variety of food and drinks. We really liked the covered connection to nearby Isaac's restaurant. We arrived quite late but they still served us nice and tasty meals. Overall very kid-friendly stop on our road trip.”

“Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations. The location is very convenient for walking into town. We visited the area for Christkindlmarkt and it was a short drive from there. We used the garage across the street for the $10 overnight parking and had no issues. The room was surprisingly large and plenty of room for 4 of us to stretch out. Everything looked clean. The free breakfast was very nice and convenient. Every staff person we came across during our stay was approachable and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Spent Labor Day weekend here with my partner. The hotel itself was really nice and the fire pit outside was beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful with anything we needed, and I love that fresh ice water was provided in the lobby. Our room itself did leave something to be desired. The wall paper was peeling and we didn't have necessary utensils in the kitchenette. The couch was a little worse for the wear. That being said, it was overall a nice experience and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks!”

“This was my favorite Hampton Inn on the East Coast. The young lady that was at the desk named Grace was totally useless and unhelpful and unaware. Our room was noisy. Went for breakfast at 9am on Sunday and the breakfast was empty and no sign of any staff. We went to Perkins next door instead. I asked the young lady Grace if there was new management and she said yes a couple of months ago. Believe me you can tell. We have stayed there at least 10 times and will not be any longer. Hilton should do more vetting when they allow new owners. Hopefully they will not go the way of Days Inns.”

“All of the staff members were very pleasant and helpful. I appreciated the little gift bag of water bottles and popcorn. The tap water in the rooms had quite an unpleasant taste (hence the water bottles). The shower room was a but sub par. Getting the shower temperature stable took probably 5 minutes, and there was no vent fan. The test of the room was very nice. Lovely curtains, working TV, comfy chairs, comfy bed (bring your own pillow though), and a nice clean sink area. Breakfast food was average but the service by the staff made it a little nicer experience.”

“Whoever built this hotel opted for a top-of-the-line design package. This is a newish, well-appointed hotel. The common areas offer a variety of seating options, all very pleasant. Everything, including our room, was clean. The bed was super comfy, as at all Hilton properties. For once in recent experience, the hotel bathroom had enough towel bars and hooks, not to mention very nice, very absorbent towels. Because we are late risers, we didn't take advantage of breakfast here, but the bar was a nice place to hang out after returning from dinner (although the bartender did make my bourbon-and-soda order with 7-Up--oops!).”

“Stayed for one night with a one year old. We didn't book a suite but received a room that had an extra little sitting area, which was perfect for putting our one year old in his pack and play to sleep (which was provided by the hotel). Very clean, quiet and comfortable room. There's a little plaza with a couple restaurants that is super walkable- just a quick breeze through the parking lot. Breakfast in the morning was very busy as it seemed a soccer team was staying over, so the tables were packed when we got there. An employee saw me struggling to get breakfast for our one year and carry around a high chair, and stepped in and helped me. She showed me to the empty conference room where we could eat and insisted on carrying the high chair. She checked in several times to see if she could get us anything, and ended up bringing our baby a banana. Her kindness was so refreshing and appreciated. I wish I had caught her name, but she had a long blonde ponytail- thank you for going above and beyond for us! We had an excellent stay, but, just two suggestions to make the service extra superb: I wish that the hotel carried sheets the size of the pack and play. When we asked for a sheet, they gave us a bed sheet which we had to wrap around the pack and play mattress, which isn't sleep safe for a baby. Secondly, I phoned the hotel ahead of time (the day before) to let them know we would be needing a pack and play. They said that they are available and to let them know when we checked in. At check in, we let them know and they brought one up, but, it would have been extra convenient if it were just already ready to go in the room seeing that we called ahead. All in all, worth the stay! Thank you Hampton Inn Lancaster!”

“Everything was clean, hotel was nice and maintained, quiet, and service was very friendly. Location just off 76 was perfect. Room was a little dark and the bathroom/mirror layout meant any light in the bathroom was spilled and reflected into the bedroom at night. Breakfast was hot and clean and staff was friendly, but there were no meats available, all the fruit tasted like the juice mix it was bathing in, and cream cheese/jelly selections were limited.”

“The room is fine. Probably renovated a few years ago but on a budget you can tell. The toilet in my room was not even properly locked down. However the staff is non existent. Not a service oriented group. Feels like they are doing YOU a favor. When you say I am a Hilton member when they deny you something they don’t care. They don’t even care when corporate office called and asked for a small favor. Also only a few staff people here and at night 1 person who cAnt leave the desk. Have a lovely stay !”

“Tucked in behind a neighborhood, one block off the main strip is a 4 story Hampton Inn. You can walk a quick block and you are at shops and restaurants and even an arcade. Very clean. Friendly staff. Indoor pool. Nice breakfast spread. Only disappointment was the gym. 2 treadmills, a broken bike, and some weights. It smelled like gasoline with a leak in the roof. Everything else was great so don't let that deter you if you don't use the gym at places you stay.”

“We called the front desk from the road. It was about halfway between our MI home and our NJ destination. I always call because we travel with a dog and sometimes there’s not accurate pet friendly information online. When we got there we were greeted by Jason. He was the person I had spoken to earlier, and was just as friendly in person! Our dog was welcomed, our room was clean and comfortable, and we were offered a discount at a local restaurant by Jason! If you need a pleasant place to stay in western PA, give this Hampton Inn a try-and say hello to Jason for us!”
