“Excellent location and stunning scenery all around. The owners were very helpful and kind and speak so many languages, it is very impressive. The rooms, pool and restaurant could all be improved slightly, especially the cleanliness, because for its price, you expect a little better, but overall it was still fantastic to stay here. Also, no one available at reception at night time, which was slightly awkward as had a couple of emergencies and needed help, got the help we needed in the end, but wasn't easy. Apart from that, the place is recommended.”

“Beautiful hotel. We spent only one night there so we couldn't enjoy all the facilities: it has two outside pools, a restaurant, green area. The breakfast was very very good plenty of options! The room was clean. Also, it has a lot of parking slots. I recommend it!”

It’s a bit of a drive down some country roads if you aren’t used to the kind of driving, but it’s worth it. We even got to drive by a goat and a donkey”

“I highly recommend reserved a table to have a dinner there. The food was amazing throughout. They were very accommodating in having us even though the restaurant was fully booked. They were knowledgeable with gluten-free options and giving gluten free breads. The steaks with truffles were amazing. While it was convenient to go back to your room after dinner in 1 minute. The noise from other people leaving the restaurant was not so nice and it continues to 1AM in the morning. We would love to dine there again but not sure about staying there. The room needs a bit of updating too.”

“Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, very well decorated and nicely furnished, air con in every room. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms even though I think we only paid for a single. Breakfast was well worth getting from their restraunt and also the food in the evening was very good, possibly the best swordfish I've ever had. Travelled via Pisa airport, took the train from Central Pisa Station to Grosseto, trains are a great way to get around Italy IMO, then was a quick taxi to Fattoria San Lorenzo. We did not hire a car as didn't feel comfortable using a left hand drive and the nearest shop is about 2km down the road, and most people here had a car to explore the surround areas. Who I think is the owner kindly lent us a bike to go to the shops twice and even offered to give us a lift (which we declined as the bikes were more than enough) There are 3 sites called Fattoria San Lorenzo within a 30 minute walk, pictures on each are sometimes assigned to the wrong site Thank you for our stay :)”

“This is a nice location. However, the room had a very bad odor. The building is ancient, I get it, but the smell was really musty. We had to keep the windows open to air out the place. The AC had no external circulation and had a line dripping into the bathroom for condensation. However, the hosts were very very friendly and nice! Very secure location as well. I’d give the place 5 stars if it was not for the smell.”

“Nice, clean, cozy hotel! The staff was very helpful and friendly, they have an elevator till 3rd floor and one floor stairs. There is a rooftop terrace with a view of the leaning tower and our room on the fourth floor also had a tiny view. The room was small for 3 adults but manageable. Overall would recommend!”

“We were on VBT Trip and this was our final 3 days. Delightful Inn, Great Staff including Mari and Joseph were always helpful. We decided to stay an extra night before leaving to Florence...Super quiet last night (without our Biking Group).. the Pool is awesome also... They prepared a nice "picnic" dinner and we enjoyed around sunset... I would always recommend this beautiful and well managed Inn for your travels”

“Visited this region of Italy whilst our son was competing in a world kickboxing championships and we stayed in this hotel. The rooms have been renovated to a very good standard and are very modern. The evening meals are very good and there is plenty of choice and the staff are very friendly and always willing the help. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it for anyone that is looking to stay in this area.”

“Absolutely wonderful location right across the street from the Duomo. Rooms had incredible storage, and the bathrooms were very roomy and clean and well appointed. The bed was one of the few beds in my italy trip where I actually slept very comfortably, and the pillows were absolutely delicious. The owner is one to make sure that you're staying in his hotel is scrumptious, And you are enjoying yourself during your stay in Florence. His staff went out of the way to make sure that we had dinner reservations at zero hour and that we enjoyed our breakfast before we left on our busy schedule in Florence. I really wish google would have more than just five star rating hotel. I will stay here again.”
