“Was such a great experience, can’t say enough good things about it. The staff is excellent. Theresa must have a degree in charm, I swear, but everyone I interacted with was friendly, charismatic, and helpful. The breakfast is actually good, with fluffy eggs and tasty sausage. They also have complimentary dinner during a kickback hour that was delicious too. AND the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Maybe I’m just used to Dallas, but I was amazed at how affordable it was for the amenities. I’m used to the same pricing getting me a small room in a hotel where I don’t trust the elevator. If I am ever in the area again, I WILL be coming back.”

“The hotel was very clean and smells so fresh. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel room was comfortable, quiet and relaxing. We did not hear street noise from the room and were able to sleep like we were at home. Big plus for us when traveling! We had no trouble parking and felt it was a very safe area. This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at. We will stay here again if in the area.”

Miss Chawanda the housekeeper was also very nice and attentive. Very close to a big variety of things to do but out of the way from bar traffic. Hotel has lots of authentic and original details that I love!”

The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean, and the views overlooking the Mississippi River and location near The Manship Theatre, Tsunami, LSU MOA, etc., could not be beaten. My family was so grateful for her help as we travel her for a family funeral she has made this trip smoothly as possibly. Upon check in she was nice, efficient and very clear explaining the hotel fees and process of parking. Throughout our stay she remain polite by checking on my family during our hard time. “$15 breakfast with grey eggs and off brand cheerios. Beds are good, bathrooms have water damage and poorly fitted tub, no fan either. If there were any shining example for what US needs more hostel-type establishments, this is it. Seems like there’s just too much going on for the nice people (and the service was great!) who work here to manage effectively (laundry room! business center! restaurant/bar! pool!), and management is trying to get what $ they can out of the place, which is also understandable. Just not the best situation🤷‍♂️”

“This hotel is an older Hampton Inn but was clean and comfortable. Ida at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. We had an issue with the thermostat in the room. It turned out that it needed new batteries and it was resolved quickly. Ida also made an excellent recommendation for us to get dinner. El Jarrito Mexican Grill on Farmerville Hwy was great! The hotel breakfast was excellent. I would stay again”

“Wonderful hotel and staff. They have keyless entry to you room through your phone. We got delayed in our trip so I was able check in with my phone so when we got in at almost 1 I’m the morning we just walked right up to our room. The breakfast was very good it had all the breakfast staples. Staff was super friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Overall great experience.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel is very clean and modern and has everything you need, including a bar and restaurant on the first floor. One of the best things about it is the decor, in lobby/restaurant/bar area it is really well done. The size of the rooms are the only downside if you’re going to have 3-4 to a room. With that being said I would highly recommend this place as I found it perfect for my weekend getaway. Its cost, location and service makes this a place I would like to return to.”
