“Hampton Inn at Ocean City was a nice experience. I came mainly to go see the wild horses at Assateague Island and in hopes of getting some great seafood (I got the seafood pizza from one of the local shops it was great). Only thing was the balcony door was not able to shut or open properly but the hotel was quick to create a solution while we were there. Also I must say it is always nice to have a decent free weight gym at the hotel so in the down time from being at the broad walk or out and about you can get a great pump in. I recommend this location and it looks like a lot of fun in the summer time!”

“There's a good decent breakfast but it isn't part of the stay. It's an extra charge. It was very surprising to find out it wasn't part of my stay. So we only did it once. I'm too used to Drury Inn to feel like it's no big deal. Otherwise, it was a great stay. The power blinds were a freaking pain in the butt. Never could get them to open all the way up for plenty of light, but the hotel was so conveniently located for getting to where I needed to go and dining options, literally around a corner, I'd stay there again.”

“Would NOT recommend for the amount of $$$ you pay per night! We are staying here 2 nights for a softball tournament and we are a family of 4. We were assigned a room with a king bed and a pullout. The room is so small… we had to move furniture to even be able to pull out the sofa bed. We had no room to put suitcases. I went to use the laundry and 2 of the 4 washers were broken. You also have to purchase a token to use the washer and dryer and it’s $2 per token! Paying this much per night and they can’t even provide complimentary laundry?! Also, breakfast is only 6am to 9am, so don’t plan on sleeping in if you want to eat! The parking spaces are super tight as well, so if you have a truck of SUV, be mindful. There are many other hotel options for less $$$ in the area so shop around. We would not have stayed here if we would have known all of this. I guess I was expecting a lot more for the amount you pay per night.”

“From booking to checking in 5 stars. Front desk staff is very approachable, friendly and courteous. My wife and I decided on a mini staycation and the location is definitely worth it. We had an upgraded room to a water view. Which was beautiful watching the sunrise and set. Breakfast is basic but good and fresh. You’re greeted with smiles and good mornings off the elevator. Rooms are clean and Secure. Looking for a room when visiting? I highly recommend!”

He offered to make us warm cookies because they ran out of complimentary ones and brought us towels during the busy Friday night. The rooms were very spacious and the shower was nice. “Comfortable bed and the room seemed clean. The toilet clearly had been leaking at the base for a while since there was fresh caulking, but it wasn't fixed properly. There was a huge puddle of water and my socks got wet!! The tub faucet dripped all night too! If we weren't leaving for a very early flight, we would have complained, although we did mention it to the receptionist upon check out. It's obvious they already knew there was an issue with the bathroom. The sidewalk and entryway from the parking lot is not luggage friendly!!!! Decent enough motel for a one night stay.”

“Room is decently equipped. The coffee maker wasn't working. We were there only for 1 night so they couldn't fix the issue immediately. The bathroom was lacking enough hand soap. “I would rate it at 4.5 if I could. The good; it's a pet friendly hotel and one guest could not control her dogs (or her children). I called the front desk and they moved me far away from psycho lady. As it turned out 3 other guests also moved due to the noise from room 314. The bad; it was unanimous, the bright yellow substance labeled as eggs was grainy, odd tasting and just plain yucky. Bad #2; the lids for the coffee cups did not fit the coffee cups. Very inconvenient. Other than that the place was great, very clean.”

“Just writing to comment on the breakfast... there's no other hotel at this price point with a free breakfast this good. They had multiple waffle irons, multiple juices, muffins, different beads, biscuits, bagels, multiple working toasters, hot food like omelets, sausages, prepped oatmeal, and potatoes. Fruit salad, whole fruit, cereals and milk, and ever condiment you could want, all constantly updated, freshened and restocked. For four hours. I went twice actually, I couldn't sleep, so I was basically the first guy there. I was able to get in a nap, then came back maybe ten minutes before they closed. There was still an attendant keeping everything tidy and restocked. Sure, the hotel is nice, the rooms are clean, no complaints. It's a fine place to stay, but I just wanted to say it's especially nice they put some actual thought and care into their breakfast bar.”

“Was checked in by the maintenance guy after we waited five minutes. The check in person saw us but kept doing what’s she was doing. Didn’t even say “I’ll be right with you” with three people waiting at the desk. She came by later. Still no apology for not being there to check us in. Also, lobby smelled like chlorine because the door to the pool was wide open. The lobby also looked worn. Time to renovate? The room was clean but the shower rod dropped down. Don’t you check these things before guests come in?? I picked the Hampton Inn because they were the best but that was a few years ago. Also, paper thin walls. I could clearly hear normal conversation next door. Well, there goes my decision for future stays.☹️. Can’t wait for breakfast!😕 The manager asked me to contact her about my concerns which I did, and her response was to tell me that with regards to the thin walls, the whole building would have to be demolished and rebuilt. Even though that may be the case, I felt as though this manager was less than helpful, put me in the defensive, and definitely was less than accommodating with regards to my stay. I really must learn not to call managers back when they ask you to speak with them about your concerns because it’s just lip service. She also said that there was nothing she could do to compensate me for my poor stay because I booked the room to a third-party payer. If she really wanted to do something, she would’ve.”
