“Enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hampton! Upon checking in, the staff that greeted us were extremely friendly, and that lasted our entire stay! The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the beds were actually comfortable and not springy, and the hot water and water pressure were great! Wish I had remembered to take pictures! There are lots of outlets in the room, and every outlet has hdmi ports as well. There is a pool on-site but we did not get around to checking it out.”

“We were very pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was! We would definitely recommend—it is right off of I26 and it feels very fresh, clean, and new. The lobby is incredible and a great space to relax and watch a football game on the large tv or play foosball. The bar was beautiful and big and the bartender was accommodating despite us arriving later in the evening. There was even a nice fire pit for our use right off from the lobby. Rooms including bathrooms are large and clean!! Would definitely stay again!”

“Nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and vary clean. The beds are very comfortable with lamps by the bed and plugs for your or tablet. The hotel had a very beach chic look. The pool was gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful palm trees. They do have a restaurant and a window on the pool deck where you could order food or drinks, yes and even alcoholic beverages. The staff was friendly, free parking and handicap parking right in the front of the hotel. The price is great. I recommend this hotel.”

“Everything about this hotel is amazing! The location is perfect, we were able to walk out the front door and be directly on Main Street. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Each day the house keeping came in and made it cleaner than I could expect having 3 little kids staying in there. Every employee at the hotel was kind and generous. Each morning we were very pleased with the breakfast and pleasantly surprised with the evening reception on weekdays. I will be recommending this hotel to anyone who plans to go to Greenville and we will be back!”

“ETA: *After being charged the entire cost, this hotel placed ANOTHER charge on my account for the same cost which caused multiple issues with my bank and other bills. I called but the manager was supposedly unavailable. I left a message and continued calling back to no avail. I was hanged up on repeatedly and placed on hold for long periods of time. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. **Location: It's the south so we all know what to expect. I was born and raised in the area, and was appalled to see the humongous confederate flag that had been resurrected with a spotlight. Any POC would do well to find a better place to stay. We stayed for three nights. The tub was stained tan/brown and the shower curtain had some odd stain on it. The water pressure for the shower was worse than army showers in basic training and the water temperature was even worse - it was cold all the time! There was an odd smell when we got to the room which prompted us to by air fresheners for the room. The only good thing to eat at breakfast was the gravy biscuits. The juice was watered down so much that my children thought it was water. The staff serving breakfast was extremely friendly. The parking lot was clean and check-in/out was simple. We had an issue where housekeeping did not bring us fresh towels or more toilet paper, but the front desk gave us some after waiting for quite some time for housekeeping to do it. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were a bit soft (even the firm ones). The pull out sofa did not have linen, but the front desk easily provided that to us. Two of the USB electrical outlets were damaged and unusable. Thankfully, I had prepared for the worse and it wasn't an issue for us. I was really hoping for a better experience while traveling to bury a family member. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again if I had to return to the area.”

“Stayed here for a work conference. The hotel is 1.4 miles from the Westin conference center. This facility is currently undergoing renovations and is a little dated and worn. The room was clean and stocked with toiletries. Includes a refrigerator, microwave and one cup coffee maker (not Keurig). The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom so great for multiple guests. The lighting in the sink area was poor. Breakfast was good and even included biscuits and gravy one morning (free). The staff was helpful and friendly. Outside lighting for the non main entrance doors was poor making it difficult to see the caution paint on the sidewalk at night. Overall a good visit.”

“Our stay at Homewood Suites in North Charleston truly felt like a home away from home. Escaping the cold Indiana weather, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible team at this hotel, creating a joy-filled journey filled with genuine southern hospitality. We happily rate our experience 4 Stars 🌟 for excellent service, safety, and great value. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we have a few friendly suggestions to enhance it to a 5 Star 🌟 review: 1. For improved comfort, consider replacing the sleeper sofas. 2. Address lighting issues, such as missing bulbs in bedside lamps and non-functional stairwell lights. 3. Update the washer/dryer signage to reflect accurate wash times. 4. Attend to carpet stains and peeling wallpaper in the hallways, exemplified on the 5th floor. 5. Ensure secure toilet paper roll holders, as ours was precariously hanging from the wall. 6. We appreciated the immediate replacement of our torn shower curtain after informing the front desk 👏. Despite these minor points, our overall experience was relaxing and pleasant, surrounded by a friendly staff, all at a very reasonable price. Happy travels!”

“Located at the Marina on the ICW. Beautiful view, room was spotless We were allowed to check in early and check out late (1pm) at no extra charge! PET FRIENDLY 😁!!! Clark's Restaurant located next door had a out of this world French Onion soup! Free basic Continental breakfast. Basic. Snack bar is limited so bringing your own snacks would be advised. Fantastic customer service, room was extremely clean and well stocked. Only 2 k-cups in room with powdered creamer. You can go to the lobby and stock up on extra k-cups (ask front desk), International liguid creamer with sugar added or half & half. Slenda as well as equal is available. Stock up on your way to the room so you have plenty of coffee as well as supplies in the morning. We highly recommend the Balcony Suite ❤️ A great stay and we hope to visit again soon!”

“After checking into the room, I have found 3 cockroaches in the room within a period of eight hours. Keep in mind that the room was on the fifth floor, not the first floor. On the bathroom floor beside the bathtub, there was an inch of human hairball. When I put the bath floor towel down, I discovered pubic hair in the middle of the towel. The bathtub also had a large round yellow stain about 4 inches in diameter. When I informed the front desk, the associate offered me to change the room and would take care of the bill for the previous night stay. She assured me that she would ensure that I wouldn't get charged for that night a few times. After moving into the new room, I found another pubic hair on the bath towel. There is another yellow stain at the corner of the bathtub against the wall. As usual, I took part of the free breakfast in the lobby. What a surprise! A few hours after breakfast, I had upset stomach and some constipation. I didn't partake the free breakfast the next day. After I checked out the room, I received the bill without taking off the first night's charge. Lastly, I never got recognized (which is usually a standard protocol in the Hilton chain) as a diamond member. And didn't get a complimentary snack or bottle of water.
