“I am definitely going to stay here again. My fiance and I had such a great time, and the staff went above and beyond to accomodate our requests and our issue we had with our credit card. The walk to downtown is fast, and when we drove to the mountains our car got muddy, we found that the hotel has a self service car wash in the underground parking which was so convenient! Our view was beautiful, and it was so lovely to have our morning coffee with a mountain view (request a mountain view). The coffee itself was excellent quality. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. The shower was amazing and you can turn it different styles and directions. Overall the hotel was clean, quiet and the hot tub was amazing with the mountain view which faces the highway. I'm so happy we found this hotel and can't wait to book again, I will be recommending to our family and friends.”

“This hotel was amazing. The rooms are very large. They have full size fridges, pull out table, the dishes and cutlery are all included. The beds are very comfortable. There was also a sofa bed and linens. We were on the 3rd floor and it was so quiet. This hotel was priced exceptionally well. They even gave us a medical rate as I was having surgery, just down the street at Surgical Solutions group facility. Also I almost forgot to include this...upon check in there's a snack shelf just off to the right hand side, the attendant checked us in then ask my 2 children (7&3) to come over and pick a treat, it made them so happy and they felt seen. My youngest kept saying to me how nice that lady was she gave us treats. Also 24/7 there's a coffee table which also has hot chocolate I didn't get to eat but I do believe it's more than just continental as they have many different things that are hot. As in the egg bites. It's also not far from many shops and restaurants.”

“I had a king suite room. As a housekeeper myself I notice the little things, and the larger things stick out even bigger. As me and my Boyfriend first looked around the room I noticed these things. 1 There were no robes ( we had met a few people later on who said they just had them in the closets). 2 The coffee mugs still had rings from previous guests 3 A sweater tucked into the right side of the mattress 4 There was previous stains on the sheets and pillow cases, one of them had a rip in it as well (should go into a reclaim bin in laundry) 5 The sheets on the bed were not for the correct bed. Flat instead of fitted, and the duvet was a queen on a king bed 6 There brown blanket was there but no extra pillow 7 I really felt that the front desk lady who checked us in was wonderful! She spoke with us twice and was lovely. But there was a front desk person who was not very approachable, he was quite rude to He served us as we were checking out. The positives were : The bistro was great. Had a great waitress! We had dinner there, it was really good. Hot tub was great, beautiful view. The also have a hammock I sat in to watch the sunset and sunrise. Beautiful spot.”

“Stayed for the first time and had an excellent stay! The room was very clean and spacious and thoughtfully laid out. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to any requests we had. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Coffee & tea were provided in the lobby at all times which was awesome. The pool was the perfect temperature although the kids pool was a bit cold but still tolerable. Breakfast had a great variety of hot items and everything else you could want. Great location 7 min drive from WEM. I always change up my hotel when I visit but I think I’ve found the hotel I will be staying at from now on. Highly recommend!”

“Unfortunately we had to wait about 1 1/2 hrs to check in. I booked online prior to arriving at the hotel. Computers didn't recognize the reservation until much later. Maybe call the hotel directly instead of booking online 🤷‍♀️ The room was great! Breakfast was good but hot food was not hot.”

“This is a great hotel! The properly is clean, quiet and conveniently located. Ample parking at all times of the day. Staff were welcoming and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Our king jacuzzi suite was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There is a coffee and water station just off the lobby that is available to guests 24/7. Breakfast was however, only alright. Selection was on the slim side and seating was limited. Overall, great value and we would stay again!”

“This hotel was wonderful! Clean, great location for the event we attended and the staff were exceptional. The manager, Navneet, corrected an issue I had initially with the reservation team. He also remembered us when we came in and was very accommodating and nice. Every staff member we met was friendly. The hot breakfast was really good! Very fresh and quite flavourful. We will stay here again for events in downtown Edmonton.”

“Spent one Wednesday night at this facility in mid-October 2023. The first complaint was the parking (or lack of it). The parking lot was extremely congested and it took several times around the parking lot to even find a spot. Once in the room, there were spots on the bathroom floor that appeared to have been there for awhile. Tried to take a bath but couldn't find the tub stopper. It was later noticed on the floor under the vanity. There was long hair on the shower wall, which was the ultimate gross-out. Obviously, the "cleaning" crew could use a refresher. In addition, there was debris found under the coffee machine. Again, had obviously not been cleaned at all. Having a pool, hot tub and water slide was definitely a perk, but the condition it was in was less than acceptable. The jets on the hot tub were so weak that the water barely circulated enough to get a ripple on the surface. The water was warm, but I was disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the entire facility. The water filters are not working properly and the whole area was slimy. The lady in the breakfast room was helpful, polite, and very pleasant. She was the only staff member I saw who I would choose as an employee. The other staff didn't even come close. Other hotels of a similar caliber offer a bit more upon check-in too. Having a properly stocked coffee bar in the lobby with actual coffee (and perhaps some hot chocolate for the kids) would be the bare minimum I would expect. Our selection was tea and nothing more. Having a $0.25 bottle of water provided would be standard procedure in most places - but not here. It will be a very long time before I ever frequent this hotel again...if at all.”

“I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this week for my business trip, and I wanted to say that it exceeded all my expectations. The staffs were all very friendly and professional since day 1. And the room that I stayed in was the perfect blend of comfort and functionality. The cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful interior design and furnishings made it easy for me to focus when working on one side of the centre desk, and relax on the other side when I was done with work. I also love the fact that the casino is right across the street from the hotel! I definitely would stay at this hotel again.”

“I chose to book this hotel due to the outstanding reviews and it lived up to the high praises and more. I stayed at this hotel for a work trip that was 3 weeks long and I must say it was such a wonderful, comfortable and warm stay. The minute you enter the hotel, the staff at the front desk are always welcoming you with a warm greeting and well wishes. The staff present during breakfast were also so friendly and so were the housekeeping staff. The rooms were super modern, clean and freshened daily. The bed was comfortable and linens were comfortable as well; they also have blackout shades which were SO handy for my days off when I wanted to sleep in after the sun was out. Breakfast is included and it was delicious always. This hotel is located in a perfect area & my commutes were within 10 minutes at all times, no matter where I was headed. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. Google might say 2-star hotel but the service is 5 stars for sure! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“This is a conveniently located hotel if you're going to the airport. Check in was slow but friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable but there is very little soundproofing between the rooms, we could hear the people in the next room talking and laughing. Also, their bedding was oddly stiff and loud. We had 5 people in our room and I could hear ever time someone turned over. They have daily and weekly rates for airport parking which would have been great but their shuttle didn't run until after 5am and we had to be gone by then. They also let you know their shuttle service is not guaranteed. Also, their breakfast didn't start until after 6am, again not very helpful for early travellers.”

“Holiday inns are usually my favorite hotel. I'd have to say this holiday inn is far off the list. With my check in being fast and service being okay. I usually pay the security deposit. Witnessed 2 people tried checking in with cash and were denied. One of them being someone we knew. Be careful walking on the floor if your sleeping on the top floor. You might get disturbed by the guests below you when they could have just called the front desk in the first place. We are in a hotel. We are not going to stop walking on the floor. I'm not trying to be threatened by other guests well trying to enjoy our visit. Wouldn't visit this hotel with your kids unless your staying on the ground floor because who knows what bothered that guy. Usually the holiday inn is a first choice for me in any city but not in lloydminister if I ever come back this way. Front desk came to the room to ask about the disturbance. Well I could've just called it in so the situation could be noted. I just wanted to enjoy the rest of my stay and not have to answer my door to answer questions by unwanted guests and the kind front desk agents.”
