“Awesome hotel for reasonable price with quite and friendly atmosphere. I checked in close to 10pm with my huge baggage and hungry, so the restaurant was about to close. I wouldn’t be able to catch up tho drop my bags at the room and get back on time. However, employee stuff at front desk was really helpful and told me that they could actually watch for it and keep it until i eat. So I wouldn’t stay hungry. I really appreciate that🙌🏻”

“Had a good stay, but my mom noted there were oily fingerprints on the headboard, side tables and doors so they weren't cleaned. She also said the regular bed spread smelled very chemically, like bleach. Also, the greenish-blue blanket for the pull out couch could be replaced, it felt dingy. Staff were nice and helpful and breakfast bar was simple but was good. Mom ordered French toast and enjoyed it.”

“Nice hotel, central location and quiet neighborhood setting with great a free parking garage. Breakfast was included and has a good selection of options. Room nice, no heat vent in bathroom. The sink/vanity is outside the bathroom with no wall to separate from the bed area, so the light is very bright. A dimmer switch or nightlight option would help make it more usable during the night. Common areas are nice, everything is clean. Didn't use the pool because it was full of children. A girls dance team was here during our first night and they were extremely loud in the hallways and inside their rooms. Not enough to complain to the hotel staff though. Overall, a positive stay and I'd definitely return if ever back in Columbus.”

“Very quiet rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Pull-out sofa bed was new and very comfortable (never dreamed I would say that about a sofa bed!!) Pool was small but very nicely maintained. We had a nice mini-vacation and will definitely stay here again when in the area.”

“This is a cheap hotel, but I cannot speak more highly of the staff. Superb people work here. The breakfast isn't tasty, the gym is missing 50% is it's weights and only 1 is the 3 treadmills works.... The curtain doesn't really go down and the heater doesn't work great, and the bathroom door is broken but the sheets are soft and it's relatively quiet. It's worth the cost, and the staff truly make up for any of the cheapness.”

“The ambiance and atmosphere is fresh, airy and friendly. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Check in was fairly easy and quick. Parking accessible in a very good clean location. If you read the negative reviews you can tell that people have personal issues and nothing wrong with the hotel. The area is very busy and we felt very safe at all time. The breakfast is very clean but simple. The beds, and the sheets were very clean and very comfortable. Really, other than the bathroom door being glass which makes the light bright in the room, the hotel is one of the best in the area.”

“I had never stayed at a Fairfield BUT moving forward, I'll add this to my Marriott list! The staff was awesome and so welcoming! Made the check in enjoyable after a LONG drive. Got to my room and it was perfect! Clean and super comfortable. I was so impressed, I booked ahead another week when I return to Columbus! The bar was super friendly and relaxing! “Last minute staycation. Very friendly front desk employee(Greg I believe). The room super nice and clean. Even had a sofa area to watch TV that I didn't expect. Bathrooms clean and accommodating. I mainly came to swim since my condo pool had already closed at Labor Day. Had the pool to myself. Very clean, could tell it was well chlorinated and maintained. Looking forward to continental breakfast. I'm a happy visitor thus far. Thank you.”

“Excellent HGI property that lives up to the quality standards you'd expect. The staff is particularly outstanding as I had a booking error (my fault) and they made sure I was able to get the kind of room I wanted. Rooms are clean and you can tell the staff is trained to pay attention to detail. Plenty of parking. If there was one item I'd take exception to is a lack of easy handicapped accessibility to the hotel from the non-handicapped designated parking area (you would need to go around to the road entrances if steps are an issue).”

“As others have said this is a great place to stay. I have a student at the nearby college and this hotel was easy to locate and is very pet friendly without looking run down as most per friendly chains are. A dog park is less than 2 miles away with plenty of room for your dog to run around. Breakfast was pretty good a few more vegan options or non dairy would be great but very nice setup and friendly staff to greet you at breakfast. The rooms are very spacious I had double beds and the most comfortable pull out couch I've ever slept on which was shocking. Full size fridge plates cups glasses full sets of silverware and a dishwasher only thing missing is a stove which they will give you a portable one if you ask. Great place will be booking my stays here when I visit.”

“This place is amazing and special! Its a huge gorgeous building and extra secure. You can't t use the elevator unless you have a key. The staff I encountered was so kind and caring and did everything to accommodate me. The swimming pool and the room it's in is spacious and relaxing, the rooms are modern with cozy beds. I loved the barn door going into the bathroom, i always wanted one in my house. 55 inch TV with free showtime. I highly recommend staying here when you're in town! ❤️💌”

“This was a great hotel in a great location. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It also seemed to have a lot of great amenities. When we walked in, customer service was making balloon swords and animals for a group of kids. The pool seemed clean, as did the business center and dining area. The room was clean, but we were surprised to be hit in the face with the smell of some sort of room perfume/spray when we opened the door to our room. I guess it is sprayed after cleaning. It should be discontinued, though. It smelled awful and was extremely strong- not great for people with scent sensitivities. Carpets in rooms and hallways could use some extra cleaning as most hotel carpets could. Customer service was great and always greeted us whenever we entered the lobby. Parking is easily accessible. Would stay here again.”

“Our stay was excellent! From the customer service staff to the breakfast to the comfortable bed/bedding and complimentary bathroom supplies. We were very impressed during our stay and can’t even offer any feedback/recommendations. We are often worried about locations due to outside security/towns but having a State Highway Patrol across the street truly made us feel even more comfort in knowing that our vehicle was in a safe parking lot and we didn’t need to park within eyesight of our room. We will definitely stay again should our travels lead us to the Mansfield area!”

“Stayed here for one night. Decent size room, comfortable bed. Shower wasn't the best with stains on the corners of the shower. Breakfast was very good with lots of well stocked, hot options. The one big concern however was around 10 am (checkout is 11) someone opened the door to our room without knocking, or saying a word. When I went out there, housekeeping said their board said the room was empty. It was definitely a shock when the door was opened especially as we were in the process of getting dressed for the day.”
