“We intended to get a hotel in the old city, but all were full. Instead we chose the Antinea, which backs on to St Malo's magnificent beach, which was even more enjoyable than the old city. Rooms are very comfortable, with an enormous bathroom, and the restaurant is of high quality. Rather bizarrely, the breakfast is truly second-rate (clearly the restaurant chef is not involved with that); eggs, both scrambled and hard-boiled (!!) were awful, and the German (!) muesli on offer was practically inedible.”

“We have really enjoyed our stay at Le Jersey with my little daughter! It's a small hotel right at the seafront promenade and the beach, 20 minutes walk from the Saint-Malo fortress and 7 minutes walk from Grand Thermes (we had a great view on the sea from the room). The room was quite small but we had everything we needed (please note, there is no elevator). Le Jersey is the same group as Hotel Antinea one house away, so we had breakfast and dinners at Antinea, and what great dinners! The chef is very creative, and the taste, the combinations and the presentation of the dishes were really top. And finally, the personnel - everyone was really lovely and helpful, thank you very much! Highly recommend and will probably be back :)”

“A quick review. Now that I’ve tried every Michelin stars in Paris and every 3 stars in France, I’m redoing most of them and exploring more (follow me for all the reviews and updates). I’ve heard about this one because of the chef previously working in the George V. Great cellar. Great view. Awesome lobster dumplings. I repeat (as I did since I had them twice in a raw): Awesome lobster dumplings. You’ll spend a great evening, especially with the wine list they have.”
