“We are returning guests and as with the previous visit, the hotel is amazing! The staff are terrific and very helpful. We had a great room looking out to one of the side 'lanes' and the room was immaculate as were both bathrooms. The only request we would recommend is perhaps another staff member to help with the breakfast service but this is a minor detail. The location is like being part of a film set, truly stunning! Being such great value, this hotel is a must for those wanting to be in the heart of the eternal city of Rome. Thank you all again. Patrick & Sasha”

“Lovely hotel in a location close to the local landmarks - The Colosseum 20 minutes walk. Roof terrace with wonderful views of the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful; breakfast was lovely. My only suggestion would be to ask for a room at the back - our room at the front was noisy around 4am - think bins were being emptied. However the bed was comfortable & a lovely bathroom with power shower.”

“I went in August 23. The hotel is situated at a quaint corner and gives you old world rustic vibes. The staff is very nice and also gave me a hand made sketch as a gift. The breakfast was wonderful and has tonnes of options. Overall a nice cosy place situated in a small lane .”

“This is a great location to walk to many attractions. 3 mins to Trevi Fountain and streets of great restaurants. Rooms were quaint and clean. Bed is two singles pushed together as a single you do feel the middle join. Lovely rooftop breakfast views. Staff were are lovely and extremely welcoming and friendly”

“They was average, rooms were clean and nice, we had no noise or smell issues. Bathroom was clean with a tub there were some issues with the water temperature which was changing by the second 😄 As for the breakfast it was a bit below average in quality as well as diversity.”

“Great hotel, excellent location- walked to all the sights across Rome with no issues - its next to metro station and termini is 5 min walk so very handy. Rooms are beautifully decorated - lots of space and clean. We only had breakfast once but it was good, lots to eat and nice coffee. I would return to this hotel just for the staff, they are excellent. Friendly, helpful and happy. Would highly recommend 👌”

“This was one of favorite stays in Italy and I’d absolutely come back to stay at this location. The location was amazing, situated right above the Spanish Steps. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip and is a can’t miss if you stay here. The staff were so patient with us despite us being very tired after an international flight. Because we booked and airport shuttle through the hotel, they had our room ready two hours prior to check in, even when we absolutely did not expect that level of service. They politely assisted with our luggage and they provided excellent recommendations for traveling in the city. The rooms themselves were so comfortable with a wonderful mattress and fantastic black out curtains. It was pretty quiet despite being in the middle of the city. I will recommend this location to any friend traveling to Rome.”

“Had a very friendly staff member. The man with long curly hair (forgot to ask his name) was a great help and spoke/understood English very well. The location lost a star as we were next to an active construction site. The service loses a star because the woman waved off a request on our final morning. Which was rather rude. And 2 stars were lost for the room because 1: The TV didn't work, 2: It didn't have coffee/tea or an iron. Also, the food was okay but the bacon (ham) was greasy. Finally, the room was cosy and the bed was comfy with fresh bed sheets, also the shower was really good had a high pressure whilst being supplied with a lovely scented soap.”

“Hotel Medici was such a gem. Great location, only a 15 minute walk/7 minute taxi ride from Termini. Great coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, gelato shops, etc all within a 5 minute walk. The family room was spacious and clean. The best part though, was the staff. Some of the nicest people I've ever come across when I've traveled. Incredibly polite, helpful, and genuinely amazing people. Definitely a great choice to book, especially if you're traveling with kids.”

“I can only say WOW! This hotel was amazing in every single way. I secretly planned a surprise birthday gift for my girlfriend to fly to Rome and stay at this hotel. Overall the experience was great due to prime location, we could walk everywhere we wanted. The street was cozy and a lot of great restaurants nearby. The room was clean and spacious with all amenities needed. The staff was so helpful when planning and arranging the surprise. Giorgia helped me book taxi from the airport to the hotel and arranged flowers and Prosecco upon our visit. Alessandro welcomed us and gave us tips on what to do and where to eat (amazing tips on restaurants, we tried them all). Amir was so friendly and was the first one to congratulate us for our engagement and gave us valuable life advice. Highly recommend this hotel if you want your trip to Rome to be something extra.”

“Our room had patio doors with shutters, the air conditioning was refreshing (a tad loud, but it didn't really bother me that much). The garden patio is beautiful! Ripe fruits while you enjoy the chatter of birds, while scrolling through your feeds and reading more of my reviews in the morning with a slight smile, delicious breakfast (really 😙🤌🏼) while planning out your day, or talk with the other guests. Location is perfect. Train station, two metro stations, bus terminal: all right around the corner (±5 minutes walking) The staff 🤌🏼 was a-very friendly 🤌🏼 , they were adequately proficient in English (with an Italian accent: just how you would expect it, and will appreciate if you don't already). Lovely people👍🏼 The interior of our room was worn and old-fashioned. Carpet was repaired with random pieces of carpet (maybe related to the patio doors that doesn't completely close?). The shower head was moldy and full of limescale, and the toilet seat had exposed MDF. The bathroom radiator hangs over the toilet, jabbing you in your arm or flank when you need to sit down. The shower cabin was tiny. And the shower quite cold. It was 35° outside, so it didn't bother us much, but it might bother you? In conclusion, this hotel is just one renovation away from only getting perfect 6/5 star reviews only!”

“We checked in at 2am in the morning. The desk clerk was lovely and really helpful. The room itself was nice clean and spacious. The bathroom was huge. A few marks on the walls ect but expected for the price we paid. We had a balcony where we could watch the parrots. The swimming pool was lovely and welcoming and well maintained/regularly monitored. The air conditioning in the room was restricted unfortunately and because of the heatwave it wasn't ideal. The fridge didn't work and the beds were really. There was also an unpleasant member of staff when my husband went to ask for more pillows as one each wasn't enough he got abuse from the desk clerk (a different person to the night staff) and they only gave him 1 pillow to share between the three of us. The gardens were lovely and the free parking was really helpful. The hotel is remote there's no walking around town from this location but that's what we were after away from the streets. All in all a great place to rest your head but they need to upgrade their bedding and perhaps have a cafe/bar to make it more appealing for long term stays.”

On top of that, the service was excellent including the rooftop breakfast which was great. The best part is the location, you are literally in the middle of everything and can walk to anywhere in Rome. I would definitely recommend!”

They yell between them, they throw many times the doors, the garbage, so hard, that I thought the floors were going to collapse.. too much scandal and noise in the mornings. “An absolutely fine accommodation located right on the beach. It would definitely need a big renovation, as everything seems very old and worn, but rooms are clean and comfy, perfect for a short stay. Breakfast is included and better than what you would expect - pastries are fresh and tasty, drinks are the cheap sugarloaded postmix, but overall absolutely fine. Staff speaks English on an acceptable level and also kind.”
