“If you are looking for Charming, Value, Service and Location for you next stay in Venice, Hotel Moresco is your place. We stayed at Hotel Moresco in August, and it couldn't have been any better. Location-wise, if you are coming by bus/train, the hotel is an easy and short walk away. It's also super convenient to the rest of the city. The service from start to finish was excellent. Check in was simple and efficient, the front desk was very helpful and the restaurant and housekeeping staff, we always smiling and greeting us. Breakfast was included and it was excellent, Fresh and delish ! Our room was small, and we expected that. However, it was very well laid out and was spotless. In fact, the entire property is spotless. We particularly enjoyed using the courtyard, as it was an amazing little oasis to chill and be Zen. If I go back to Venice, I'm staying at the Hotel Moresco again.”

“What a spectacular hotel. Fantastic location, a 5-10 minute to so many incredible sites. Very clean room, bathroom, and lobby space. The complimentary drinks in the mini fridge were so nice to have. Even though the hotel was right on the street the rooms were so quiet at night. If we go to Florence again we will absolutely stay here.”

“I have to say that everything was fantastic from all perspectives by the minute we walked in! Even though we just walked in and booked a room on the spot, they gave us an amazing room and upgraded us to a presidential suite for 2 nights free of extra charge! Food was amazing, service was even better. All the staff knew how to treat us with respect and kindness. Spa was also amazing. Only thing we would suggest is if they could add more comfortable pillows and if the ski room had lockers. One of my best experiences ever! Definetely deserve to be 6 star hotel and not a 4 star!”

“This is a great hotel if you’re in Trieste, Italy. The location, rooms, and service are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The included breakfast was the best of all the hotels we used throughout our vacation in Italy. We met the owners ( Mauro and Cristina) and they were very courteous and friendly. You also get a very good value staying at this awesome hotel. We strongly recommend this hotel and will use it again if we come back to Trieste.”

“Room was OK, bathroom a bit compact, balcony a decent size but has a concrete wall and you had to stand to look over so not able to sit and relax there, Entertainment at night was ok but entertainment staff one night had 4 going round talking to holiday makers while only one waiter was serving drinks had to wait awhile to be served. Food was good but one evening a lady came with a tablet for us to fill in what we thought of hotel, we had already had a waiter at breakfast bring us a code to scan saying give us 5 star, it all feels a bit intrusive at meal times. We was at this hotel last year and really enjoyed it, but this time it was all about them getting a good review, won't be retuning”

The variety of saunas, pools, and relaxation rooms were exceptional. 👍 Great Food: The hotel's culinary offerings were a delightful surprise. From breakfast to dinner, the food was not just delicious but also beautifully presented. The restaurant staff especially Rameez & Jens were attentive and ensured that every meal was a culinary adventure. 👍 Nice Aperos Organized by the Owners: The personal touch of the owners Manni & Stefan, who hosted aperitifs for guests, was a special highlight. It allowed for a sense of community and a chance to meet fellow travelers in a warm and convivial atmosphere 👍 Good Hiking Offer: For nature enthusiasts, the hotel's location offers access to some nice hiking trails, with fantastic guides Sandra and Walther. 👍 Nice Brewery: The on-site brewery was a unique touch. We had the chance to savor some excellent, locally brewed beers, and gins which added to the overall experience of staying at Gassenhof. 👍 Efficient Cleaning: One thing that stood out was the daily room cleaning service. The staff's attention to detail ensured that our room remained clean and inviting throughout our stay. It was reassuring to know that the team at Gassenhof takes cleanliness seriously. 👍 Dog-Friendly: we had our furry companion with us on this trip, and we was delighted to find that the hotel is truly dog-friendly. They not only accommodated our pet but also had dedicated areas and services for our four-legged friends. ❗Improvement Suggestion: If there's one area for improvement, it would be to encourage a "digital detox" in the spa areas. While the spa is meant for relaxation, some guests were phoning loudly and taking pictures in the sauna, which disrupted the tranquil and private atmosphere. Implementing a policy to discourage this behavior would ensure an even more peaceful experience for all guests.”

“It's really well appointed just a short walk from all the major tourist attractions. Our junior suite was spacious and the bed comfortable, we enjoyed the canal view. Breakfast was fine, however we decided we'd rather sample the local cafes after the first day and found that worked better for us. Reception staff were helpful. We would return.”

“Nice hotel all in all, with friendly personal. In my eyes, however, it should be no more than a 3-star hotel. There is nothing special that elevates this hotel above the other. Second disappointment: I had issues while booking. I had booked way in advance via Booking.com but I kept getting emails stating that my credit card was invalid (it was not). Every time I sent a message to the hotel, and every time they answered that it was all OK. But the next day I would receive another such message about the invalid credit card (two different credit cards were both very valid). Finally, a few minutes after having checked in physically and without issues at the hotel, I got a cancelation of my booking from the hotel via Booking.com. My guess is that the hotel wanted to save the fees they should have paid at Booking.com. I paid exactly the same as in my booking, but if I would have had any issue (noise, complaining, change of room, etc) it would have been me against them, since Booking.com was not involved anymore. This gave me a bad taste, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel.”

“The hotel is somewhat secluded in a beautiful and quiet area. Fortunately, you get as good as nothing from the traffic here.
