“I recently stayed at this hotel in Perth and found it to be a mixed bag. On the plus side, the location is excellent and the room is spacious. One of the standout features for me was the convenient parking—just a short walk to the check-in lobby. Additionally, the property is all on one level, making it easy to get to the room without having to lug suitcases up or down stairs. However, there were a few drawbacks that detracted from the overall experience. The lighting in the room is dim, which can be a bit frustrating if you’re trying to read. The soundproofing leaves much to be desired; I was easily disturbed by the noise from the in-house restaurant until late at night, as well as by early morning vacuuming. The sound from the TV in the next room was also audible. Lastly, the water heater was quite erratic, with hot water suddenly turning cold. If you’re a light sleeper or need stable water temperature, this might not be the place for you. However, if convenience and accessibility are your primary concerns, this hotel has that covered.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. Richard is a gem (front desk) and he helped us with excursions on many occasions. Our room had an AMAZING view of the bay. The service was fabulous, the pool was great, the restaurant had delicious food, the breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and the location is walkable to downtown Cairns (note: this hotel is at the end of town, for some, this may be a little far. For us, it was no problem. We walked everywhere).”

“Beautiful venue but we went for afternoon tea and there were no staff at the counter. After 5-10 minutes we found someone who took our order. Tea and coffee arrived and were very nice. We waited 40 minutes for 2 scones and had to go in and remind them we were still waiting. They then said sorry- 5 minutes but had obviously forgotten.”

“Very well located apartment hotel. We were on the 4th floor, right next to the roof terrace with a great view of the city.
