“Very nice designed hotel, lets say and according to me... wood concept.. room is little bit small, for me😊. i was there for one night business trip, which is close to airport. but spa area is very nice. very good sauna. nice swimming pools. clean and well equipted. the only things i can claim restaurant is closed on mondays you have some snack options at bar.”

“Our 2nd stay at Das Kronthaler and we still loved it. Breakfast buffet is my absolute favourite, and it's open till 11am which is wonderful. Spa area is still lovely and the room was comfortable and cosy. The ladies who serviced our room as well as our first dinner and breakfasts were warm, friendly and very helpful. I did notice some staff from the bar and breakfast were really not having a good mood, and were not so friendly towards us. I think this isn't so nice given that it's a holiday destination where people come to relax and enjoy. One of us unfortunately got food poisoning, likely from the fish dish during our second dinner, we informed the hotel during check out where they apologised.”

“Very nice wellness hotel with all the bells and whistles. Wellness areas are top, pools, saunas, etc.. My woman described her three massages as "heavenly". The bar and lounge areas are super with a "no expense spared" atmosphere. Rooms are a little bit dated but clean and comforable with balconies. The restarant is absolutely fantastic. The service perfect and food with stars. Not real cheap, but you really walk away thinking "I really got what I paid for", and that's always a good feeling. Breakfast was wonderful, the guys working the grills in the morning were so nice, very friendly, they didn't even blink when I came back for 3rds:) I'll go there again for sure.”

“The room looked better in the pictures on their website. It could seriously use some upgrades, everything seemed a bit old and tired. No A/C but just a fan, so it was very hot all the time. Barely any facilities in the room itself, but you can get coffee at the reception. Food is pretty good though, good breakfast selection and some nice items on the dinner menu at reasonable prices. The staff was a bit hit or miss, some were very friendly and others rather stand-offish. The free parking and a bus stop in front of the hotel were the biggest plusses.”

“Lovely hotel, very helpful staff. I cannot think of one think I could complain about during our 7 days stay at Felsenhof hotel. Everything in the hotel is welcoming, from the small sink especially designed for children, to the fact that all through the day there is coffee, cookies and fruits available for guests and the diverse choice of food. Also, the staff did their best to accommodate our requests: for instance, our initial party of 7, was joined for dinner by another party of 4. The restaurant staff made sure we were all comfortably seated and did not refuse us even for New Years’s dinner, when all the hotel and restaurant was full. The Flachau ski resort is accessible by a 7 minutes bus ride or 4 minutes car drive and there are numerous hiking and biking trails. I’d like to thank all the staff for their warm attitude and hope will be coming back soon.”

“We stayed at 'Landhaus zu Appesbach' for the 3rd time and it was again a wonderful experience. The rooms are beautiful and when you wake up in the morning with a view at the lake, it can't get much better. The breakfast is delicious and the dining experience overall is excellent. I want to highlight the excellent service and the friendliness and professional help of all staff - outstanding. Spending New Years Eve in a relaxed atmosphere, with a fantastic 5-course dinner, fireworks and dancing 'Wiener Walzer' into the new year was wonderful.”

Great spa with an amazing finnish sauna and outdoor pool. Lots of comfy places to relax too! Free parking available and even electric car charging if you ask in advance.”
