“Highly recommended! Excellent position on the cliff top. A spacious bedroom which had a balcony overlooking the bay, large bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The hotel did not serve an evening meal although there are plenty within a 10/15min walk, however an excellent breakfast was served either in your room or in a small restaurant. The staff were very helpful particularly in the breakfast restaurant. An outdoor swimming pool was available although due to maintenance work was closed during our visit as was the staircase to the private beach, maybe we could have been informed of this on the web site as they are both strong selling points of the hotel. Well worth a visit as was St Quay itself!”

“Wat too expensive. For the price I’d expect a spotless and sparkling clean room. There were many signs of wear in the bathroom. The joints on the tiles didn't always look nice and there were lots of water stains in the corners. Towels were supper fluffy and big. :) The breakfasts is also to expensive. Coffee tastes bad and there is only a small choice. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.”

“During a recent visit to the Relais Saint-Jacques, we stopped by to charge our Tesla at the Supercharger and enjoy a quick coffee and sandwich. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by an incident that left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. The setting of the Relais Saint-Jacques is undoubtedly charming, and we were hoping for a pleasant break during our journey. The opportunity to recharge our vehicle while enjoying a meal seemed ideal. However, our encounter with one particular waiter cast a shadow over our brief visit. Regrettably, the treatment we received from this waiter was far from welcoming. From the moment we entered, we were met with what felt like condescending glances and an air of indifference. It became apparent that our intention to have a coffee and sandwich was met with disapproval, as if we were somehow out of place or undeserving of such amenities. It is disheartening to be made to feel this way, especially as we were looking to enjoy a simple meal during a pit stop. Regardless of the nature of the visit, every guest should be treated with courtesy and respect. Our experience with this waiter was a stark contrast to the kind of service one would expect at a reputable establishment. In conclusion, our visit to the Relais Saint-Jacques was regrettably marked by an unwelcoming encounter with a waiter. I hope that this feedback serves as a reminder of the importance of consistently providing respectful and courteous service to all patrons, regardless of the purpose of their visits”

“This campsite is fantastic. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The pools are large and there are plenty of sunbeds with shade. There is a covered heated pool. Pitches are very big with hedges separating them. Fridges can be hired for your stay. Shower facilities cleaned regularly and washing machines available for a small fee. All the staff spoke perfect English but side note this area of France does not attract many Brits.”

“The staff is cordial and helpful. The rooms have a comfortable size. There were two good-sized wardrobes in the bedroom. The bed was too soft for my taste, but comfortable nonetheless. The towels were replaced often and also smooth and perfumed. The hotel is also well-located, with plenty of good restaurants nearby and two metro stations. Since we stayed a week, we got tired of the breakfast. Always the same, with no variety. But a good breakfast for a couple of days.”

“It is a nice hotel, located in a very good spot close to all the attractions. I have reservation on the staff. They are very rude at the reception and not cooperative. We had a special request that was easy to accomodate but the receptionist "Mara" treated us very badly and did not want to speak to us. The rooms are clean, but the room service is very bad. Try not to ask them for anything, otherwise they make a big deal about asking for the smallest things.”

A French American that was super informative and gave the best advice to us in English which was super helpful since our French is not great. Hotel had a great breakfast and their location was incredible. Walking distance to so many restaurants and nearby must sees while in Paris. Also for my fellow Americans and Canadians coming to visit there are NO bed bugs here at this hotel! Rooms were super clean and comfy! Will definitely stay here on our return trip!”

“Hello everyone, My husband and I had our wedding at the Cantemerle on Sept 30th, and it was fantastic. The Cantemerle is a lovely place, very peaceful, and it is a perfect spot for a small wedding (60 person max). We couldn’t have chosen a better venue & dinner for our special day. The staff did an excellent job, and they ensured that everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious with a nice presentation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Lea (the sales/event coordinator at the Hotel) was incredible, she supported us during the process and ensured that everything was all set before and during the event. “Lovely and beautiful hotel with a great view. But when very hot as this July (30 plus) the room was impossible to stay during day and just very hot during night. The hotel should provide a fan as no aircon installed but when asked no fan was provided. A pity as the place is great and the food lovely - but hard to sleep for two days reduce the overall to two stars. If not a hot day by all means go for this 😜”
