“There really is no location more perfect than this. All major spots, landmarks and even delicious restaurants are close by. There are many H10 Hotel branches, but H10 Medison is by far the best. The room was a little small, but the bed was very comfortable and everything was there. The meticulousness of preparing champagne and cake to celebrate my birthday was outstanding. I was very satisfied with Barcelona and... it was my first experience in Spain. Highly recommended.”

“Helpful, friendly staff. The hotel is situated in a good central area that has many restaurants & tapas bars. The room was unusual in that the basin was in the bedroom, not the bathroom. I'd have preferred more room to place our suitcases, but we managed. The room had a nice terrace which unfortunately we couldn't use it due to the cold weather. The breakfast was varied & nicely cooked.”

“I want to save this magical place for myself but will reluctantly share with others. It’s a lovely location, has excellent and friendly service, comfortable big rooms, 5-star grounds of terraces and gardens, and magnificent views. The signed artwork was eclectic and impressive. I would remodel the sitting room of our suite removing the desks and adding a sleeper sofa and side tables.”

“This Hotel is FANTASTIC, perfectly positioned on the front facing the Port, close to the Metro and right over the road from the Gothic Quarter. In fact most places are easily accessible from this Hotel. On arrival we were welcomed by friendly reception staff who stored our luggage until check in time as we arrived slightly early. When we arrived back at 3pm, our room was ready and our luggage was waiting for us, we were also welcomed with a free glass of sparkling wine, which we took to our room. The room was Beautiful, plenty of space and very clean, comfortable and well lit. We had complimentary bottled water and coffee in the room each day. There is also a mini bar and fridge in the room. The Bathroom was very very clean with a gorgeous rainfall shower which was really spacious. Nice big Bath towels and beautiful Rituals toiletries. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, plenty of choice of hot and cold drinks, Hot food, fruit, cheeses and breads as well as some beautiful cakes. Staff in the restaurant could not do enough for you, their service was second to none. Thank you to them. There is a great rooftop terrace with fabulous views of the Port area. I do not know why this hotel is not a 5*. Thank you for the wonderful service at your fantastic Hotel. We loved it. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Barcelona.”

“Julia the manager was so lovely, understanding and very helpful. Also Clémence was very helpful and kind through the booking and check in process with great advice. Thank you to the most kind and amazing staff. We spent one night due but had to cut the trip short due to personal circumstances but we definitely will return again when in Barcelona. Such a beautiful hotel with a lot of though in every detail and decoration. The courtyard is so beautifully and the pool is Amazing to look at and relax. You also have access to the sauna which is amazing. They have a very creative idea called the honestly bar, where you can make your own cocktails and get snacks on a self service basis and then let the reception know. It is Located in the mount Montjuic area which is so peaceful and ideal to explore that part of Barcelona. Location is ideal 5-7 min walk to parallel metro station that connects you to the rest of the city very easily. The penthouse was so beautiful and clean. Thank you from both of us and we hope to see you again.”

“We had a pleasant 2-nights experience here. I can definitely recommend it for a short stay! Pros: -excellent location & stylish building - Room on the 5th floor had a lovely balcony with a stunning view - balcony's door is super good against street noise -helpful stuff -clean! Cons: - mattress and pillow are not really comfortable - the green Exit light above the Room door was very bright for those who prefer absolute darkness -fridge was quite noisy”

“The location is perfect, about 10 minutes walk to the Gothic Quarter. All the alleyways around the hotel are charming, with small green spaces as well. The neighborhood is quiet. The room is clean, well equipped, the bathroom is huge. The only inconvenience is the random placement and lack of power sockets. The gym is adequate. I would recomend this hotel based on its location.”

“It was a good place for a budget after a hiking day. What I did liked - bathroom had a jacuzzi and it was working great! Enjoyed it after a hiking. Also the fridge in the room is working great, you can easily cook down pack of beer there to enjoy. One thing that I didn’t liked that most of the rooms don’t have a terrace, but the weather here mostly is not the best for it anyway. Sometimes you can hear the neighbours, hotel is not the new one”

“Mixed feelings on how to rate this hotel. The room was small, too small, not so clean, no mini fridge, had to rent one, no kettle no tea/coffee. In general dissapointed with the room and the room service. Not the usual 4 star hotel standard, way below. On the other side, breakfast and dinner were amazing. Especially buffet dinner. At least 20 starters, 20 different mains to select. 10 different desserts. 10 different fruit options. All across 4 huge buffet tables. Dinners were themed, one day was mexican, one day spannish, one day chinese, one day italian and so on. Great food, nothing to say other then excellent. Would not reccomend kids club for kids under 7-8 yo. They do dangerous running, climbing, pool jumping, things I usually do not allow my 5 yo to do without proper supervision. Anyway, conclusion: poor rooms, extraordinarry dinner, good room prices, so in general good value for money.”

“We stayed 4 nights. The best thing about this hotel is its location next to many stores, restaurants and one of Gaudí's buildings. We also liked the breakfast buffet (the waiters were very nice people). What we didn't like were the rooms which were small, had smells, with terrible design and in need of fixing and renovation, my room didn't even had a chair and table. Overall it's not a bad hotel but definitely I wouldn't stay there again.”

“A fabulous, family run hotel in the heart of the old and very beautiful city of Girona. The original building has been tastefully refurbished whilst retaining much of the original architecture within both the hotel and the rooms. We stayed there on 2 separate occasions during our trip and on both occasions the rooms were of a very high standard. Buffet breakfast is served in the morning with a wide range of items to choose from. The owners are very attentive to your needs, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our luggage was lost by our airline and was due to be delivered to the hotel just after we checked out to go on a 4 day cycling trip. The owners said not to worry, they would receive our luggage, put it away somewhere safe and it would be there for us when we returned. Girona itself is a very popular cycling destination and if you are thinking of bringing a bike or renting one not to worry, the Historic has a safe place where you can store them when you are not out cycling. Also if you're fan of Game of Thrones the hotel is a stones throw away from many of the major filming locations. We stayed in 8 different hotels on this trip through Spain and the Historic was our favorite, we would definitely visit again.”
