“We had an excellent stay at Kolbe Hotel for Christmas! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was delicious and very high quality! We had drinks at the bar some nights and found the bartender to be very knowledgeable and skilled. The hotel is also in a fantastic location. We had a great few of ruins at the Palatine Hill right outside our window. Travel to must-see landmarks was quick and easy by foot meaning we never felt like we had to go far to find something interesting to visit. Thanks to the staff at the hotel for a wonderful stay and making our Christmas in Rome something special that we will always remember!”

“We just came back to this hotel to finalize our wedding booked in the hotel for next July. We loved this Venue from the first moment we saw it !! It’s so unique, beautiful, full of charm. We wanted a wedding of 60/70 guest all on site for our wedding and this venue is perfect . We have it booked for 3days for our wedding celebrations. The rooms are beautiful and spacious , the restaurant is fabulous with lovely breakfast and dinner options of excellent quality . The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They could not have done enough for us to make us feel relaxed about our upcoming big day . The hotel is built into a hill and set on beautiful garden grounds. We can’t wait to come back and have our wedding here.”

“I have had an extended stay here with a group of other American students, and this hotel has been unbelievably accommodating! We are a group of noisy and in-the-way American kids, and this hotel staff has not faltered once. The staff is constantly helping us out with anything we need, the breakfast is amazing, the room service is great, and the bartender is especially amazing. He is great. We have all felt extremely welcomed and assisted here during out stay. Absolutely recommend staying here. Also shoutout Paul, one of the employees who helps out around the hotel generally. He is great.”

“We held a retreat at this resort and the staff, food, and accommodations far exceeded our expectations!! From Marco who directed us to park our cars, to Peppe and Giuseppe who managed our meals, to all the front desk staff, we could not have asked for kinder, more attentive people. Further, every luxury was considered and available. We were truly able to retreat at this beautiful location, despite the less than beautiful weather!”

“Stayed for two nights for honeymoon to explore room. We had one of the luxury suites which had a beautiful and private courtyard. The room was nice with giant jacuzzi tub, but no shower which I did not expect. Breakfast was fine and the location was great. I thought the friendliness of the staff at checkin could be much improved. If someone from the hotel is reading this, please work on this. You have guests jet lagged and tired checking in who are excited about their trip to Italy. Why not greet them and make them feel special and welcome rather than a bother? The best part of the hotel was the rooftop bar where they made great drinks and gave you very tasty snacks. The servers were really friendly as well. Overall, it’s a fine hotel and affordable for a few nights stay to explore Rome.”

“I booked a room in advance for 2 persons and paid 600+ Euro for 4 nights. I was planning to stay with a friend there and this was my only vacation. However, when I arrived they started pretending as if I booked the stay for 1 person… and required to pay 600 euro extra for 1 additional person in my double room! So that in general it would be 1200 Euro! However, when you check the prices via Booking you see that it is a fraud. I tried to argue and show my booking but administrator was really aggressive though. In other case I would definitely run away from this hotel, but to spend 30+ hours to get to Italy from Ukraine and face such challenges was not the best idea. The rooms are really old. The only good thing about the room on 8 floor was the view - it is amazing! The hotel is expensive and the price is not fair. In addition, there are real problems with taxi in Terracina - so I would not recommend you to stay in this hotel - it was real stress for me and my friends. In addition, we also booked a few extra rooms. The money and your expectations of the service is nothing here. Moreover, they require 16 euros for the sun-bed even if you stay at the hotel!!! But then it turned out that it is only 8 euro per bed and they give 2 beds for 16. In this regard I have a question: if I would have stayed alone as they presented why had I needed 1 extra sun-bed?)) It seems to me that thee cheated on me. These days were really stressful and I felt like not being welcomed there. Definitely would not recommend this hotel for the people younger than 80.”

“Not the treatment I expected for a 4 stars hotel Pros Rooms are really nice, specious and well decorated. Cons Really bad experience considering we didn’t have our beds blankets changed (we left the room for 2 hours, so apparently there is no communication within the staff). They have a sign saying “we are green, if you leave the towels on the rack we will not change them”. We did it, but they changed they. This makes me wonder if they are only greenwashing. I booked this place because they said there is a gym, but when arrived this was not accessible and no communication was made. They told us only there, and they offered to find a gym to go where I should have paid. Finally, during breakfast we had to chase after the waiters just to have a coffee. It seemed we were like unwanted guests. Overall bad experience and absolutely not valuable for the money paid by far!”

“The staff was amazing! The rooms were clean and convenient, but not exactly what we expected. They were really small. I was comparing 4 star hotels and this was not at all what I expected. It was a very old building in the middle of a dark street, but it was close to the metro and easy to get around. I prefer a more comfortable hotel, but staff was great, bed was comfortable and it was clean. Because the hotel is so small, we did not have maid service if we left later in the morning. Had this been ranked as a three star hotel, I would have rated excellent.”

“We took a family trip to Rome and stayed at the Fiume hotel. It couldn't have been more perfect; we were there for 11 days and felt right at home the entire time. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our every need. Carlos, the manager, made everything so enjoyable, from recommending places to eat to suggesting things to do. Peter was also incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that our nights were perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for solo trips, family vacations, short stays, or long ones. The hotel is clean, serves great breakfast, and has a wonderful staff. In my opinion, it's the best option in Rome.”

“My wife and I organized our wedding trip and wedding dinner at the Hotel Valadier. We traveled in an intimate group of 8 people. The hotel met and even far exceeded our expectations. Service was very friendly at the highest level. The hotel is located in the tourist heart of Rome, the most important monuments can be reached by walking - no need for any additional means of transport. The hotel includes two great restaurants and a club that hosts a live music event every night. The Hi-Res restaurant located on the roof of the hotel deserves a separate opinion. It is simply amazing and breathtaking!!! The hotel's team - once again, we sincerely thank you!”

“We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The staff is wonderful. Always there and always helpful. They gave us good tips of how to get around the city and how to get to the beach. They also sorted out our shuttle service to airport even though it wasn’t their job as it was with a different company. The hotel is nice with nice little restaurant, bar and roof top view. The rooms however not great. Spacious and furniture looks nearly new and stylish. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the mould which is growing everywhere, please see photos. In the morning the floor was sticky, unsure why, as in the evening everything was fine. We kept the windows opened throughout the day but didn’t help. I gave 5 stars for the staff who is going above and beyond to solve and answer all the questions you might have.”

“Cozy boutique Hotel in the center of Rome where you will feel like home! We stayed there for two days and it was super nice. Mr Paolo manager were very helpful made useful suggestions about restaurant in the area. Staff was friendly, especially Altynai❤️, who made check in for us. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was clean. We will definitely choose this place again.”

“Wonderful hotel. The service was excellent, rooms very clean and well-maintained, they are small but perfectly comfortable. The breakfast buffet has everything you would wish for. The location is good, its away from the noise and bustle but right by the metro so you can get to the attractionsquickly and easily. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores nearby. All in ll very happy. Do bear I mind the tourist tax you will need to pay on check in, which was €7.50 per person per night when we stayed.”

“Stayed here 6/2019 beautiful hotel from the outside. Inside needs a much remodel. Room was small decent cleaned. No iron provided unless you request one 🤷🏻‍♀️. Staff didn’t need much from them so can’t say much about the staff. Hotel located close to everything that was a big plus 😊 Restaurant outside the hotel was amazing great food and wine. Italy was amazing and I can’t wait to visit again (Italy that is) hotel would probably try a different hotel.”
