“What a spectacular hotel. Fantastic location, a 5-10 minute to so many incredible sites. Very clean room, bathroom, and lobby space. The complimentary drinks in the mini fridge were so nice to have. Even though the hotel was right on the street the rooms were so quiet at night. If we go to Florence again we will absolutely stay here.”

“Fantastic hotel, in a quiet area yet just 10 minute stroll along the river into the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day, there is a minibar, safe, hairdryer, shower gels and tea/coffee in the room. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cereals, pastries, cooked items, salads, pancakes and fresh fruit. The rooftop area is a bonus, with bar, comfy seats and a lovely heated swimming pool (properly heated, so it was nice to use even in November). The views from the rooftop were amazing. Definitely would return to this hotel if we ever visit Florence again.”

“The spa is wayy overpriced for the amenities. 45€ for a sauna and a jacuzzi? Wow. And there is no breakfast included, you get free bread but everything is paid if you want an omelette or something. Ok location, boring town. The reception isn't helpful at all and check in was a nightmare”

The location is excellent, easy walk from the train station, easy walking access to all the great local attractions, great restaurants in nearby streets. The staff were absolutely lovely, genuinely friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. The room was amazing and the breakfast was fantastic. “A very comfortable hotel, located close to Santa Maria Novella church and an easy walk to everywhere in central Florence. Staff was wonderfully helpful! Rooftop bar was delightful for drinks and views. The pool was great to have during the hot weather; the sparkling water was cold but refreshing. The garden area around the pool was a wonderful respite from the busy Florentine streets. Rooms were simply appointed but with everything that was needed, with very comfortable beds; the rooms were spotless. Breakfasts were included and delicious, with a wide variety of foods. Other meals were not available at the hotel. Although the prices were high in peak season, we felt the amenities were worth it and would definitively stay there again.”

We had a couple issues pop up on our first night there and the resident manager had already begun plans to fix them and accommodate us before we even had to ask. A lot of other properties would have heard about the issues and just apologized, but the resident manager and other staff here went above and beyond to rectify the issues. Would stay here again and the location can’t be beat.”

“We booked an ocean view room and we did have a beautiful view across the bay. The staff was welcoming and the room was very clean. There was free parking right behind the hotel which was a big plus as was the included breakfast. As you’ll see in the picture, the main road through town runs in front of the hotel. Thankfully night time traffic was minimal so we did not get a lot of road noise. Walls are a bit thin so we did hear our neighbors, not sure if they were in their room or out on the adjoining balcony but again this did not last long. Beds were very firm which wasn’t to our liking, but may be to others. Food at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced although many of the items on the lunch menu weren’t available. We did not use the beach, but it seemed to be a big draw for many people.”

“We spent a week here. The hotel is in a very good location, everything is easily accessible. The train station is 10 minutes away, from which you can easily and quickly get to the nearby cities (Florence, Pisa, Lucca). The staff is very kind and helpful, especially the waiter named Stefano. The room is comfortable and clean. The bed is big and comfortable. The breakfast is the usual buffet, everyone will find something suitable for them. The dinner is varied, very tasty, but not very large portions, it was enough for us, but it might not be enough for a person with a bigger appetite. The pool was in another building, it was clean and the view was nice.”

“Beautiful town, gorgeous mountain view. Staff was lovely, always helpful. If you need something, just ask them. Buffet-style breakfast was extraordinary; it was a delicious array of Italian meats and cheeses, eggs. pastries, fruits, tomatoes that will ruin you for any others, and coffies. Hotel was rustic; be realistic with expectations. It is very, very affordable, charming, family-owned (not another boring corporate chain), full of character. Could use a face lift, but who cares really, this is Tuscany, look at the country view, go outside, enjoy the slower side of life for a while. Lastly, hotel bar is phenomenal! ETA: I forgot to emphasize: make every effort to visit the hotel bar, if even for a coffee. I swear the genius mixologist, who I affectionately refer to as Hercules, can read your mind and devise the perfect cocktail for you. He put a smile on my face every day of my entire stay!”
