“We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and it is very very good. Its a little old but do not let that put you off. The location is excellent. Room Servicing and cleaning is excellent. Aircon is in the rooms is wonderful. We enjoyed out stay very much. We are Kiwis travelling around Italy and France. I would stay there again and fully intend to. The bar on the ground floor is also a huge bonus.”

“Great experience at Grand Hotel Spiaggia in Alassio. The room was so spacefull and the view from the balcony made the ticket. Nice service and good food to the Six floor. Last day we went to the top floor to dinner and the atmosfere was so magic with candles and nice background music. Also the view was amazing. U can see all the coast from there. Thank you. 5 star We'll back soon.”

The breakfast was quite good with a nice selection of savory and sweet. Great location: walking distance to the old city, Genova Brignole, and the port. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Exceeded our expectations. 5 stars relative to the local options, amenities and for value. Most rooms with a view of Ligurian Sea. Good location. If you are on a sport holiday-mountain biking, rock climbing or the beach, and can handle the 100E, this will feel like a lot of luxury. Rooms bigger than others locally, have a separate entry area, bathroom and sitting area. Nice breakfast included. Spa, restaurant, secure bike storage and bar on premises. Good service.”

“This hotel is right in the middle of Alassio with most hotels, restaurants, and beaches in the town within walking distance. The rooms were nice and the AC was strong. The breakfast was also one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel, and they have a hot tub and sauna that guests can reserve. Highly recommend!”

“The hotel, especially the Selva Suite, can only be recommended to a limited extent. The air conditioning has great difficulty in cooling the rooms sufficiently and in the living area, with the windows open, a mobile air conditioner with a hose tries to reduce the temperature. There is a very unpleasant smell of toilet in the lifts. I am not really sure if this hotel deserves to be a 4-star hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and of average quality. The terrace is very beautiful and offers a wonderful view of the sea.”

It is spotlessly clean everywhere. Plenty of towels - also for the beach if needed - powerful hair dryer, noiseless a/c, comfortable beds (not too soft) a big safe, big wardrobes, “soundproof” windows, great aperitif and super breakfast with the perfect view.”
