“Pretty disappointed after we thought we'd booked a nice boutique hotel. The building is beautiful from the outside and likewise the gardens are lovely. The bedrooms and much of the interior desperately needs updating. Feels like little has changed since the early 2000s and little maintenance has been done since to keep it looking fresh. The dinner and lunch food served in the restaurant looked good from what we saw. We didn't eat either but to get to our rooms we had to pass through the restaurant, which made it awkward as we checked in and had to drag our suitcases between patrons at their tables eating. The breakfast was terrible. A shame overall as we were really looking forward to staying here on a weekend away but it really was very overpriced for what it was.”

“A really great hotel. The staff was friendly and spoke great English. The location is incredible, inside the old city walls and right next to many places to eat, modern art museum Collection Lambert and the Palace of the Popes. The plane is made from 2 buildings that were connected together so there's some idiosyncrasies to the layout but if you want a boring predictable hotel with long boring hallways that all look the same go to Las Vegas. Europe is about the vibes. The daily breakfast was really next level, something I don't say often about a complimentary hotel breakfast. In conclusion it's a bit expensive but worth the price if you want a really comfortable experience in the center of Avignon. Great work L'équipe Horloge!”

“We visited in August 2023. After a long drive through France, we were delighted to arrive at such a wonderful campsite! The first day we just stayed in the campsite, but the second day we were delighted to find a forest nearby, actually in the campsite! The next week, we were happy to find a stall in the campsite, but more happy to find what surprisingly luxury products the stall had. There was a restaurant, and it had quality food. And the swimming pool, that was good. Overall, you should visit it on a trip to Saumur.”

“Clean and well designed room. Lovely view and in a charming yet fun neighborhood. Helpful staff and practical amenities. The bars and restaurants near the hotel stay open late which is great but can be rather noisy so get a higher up room that does not face the Main Street.”

“It's a vintage structure with old style architecture. The hotel itself is a unic experience. For the first time I saw a bathroom in hotel which is separate from the toilet. The room was a bit warm at the first week of April and no air circulation. The window can't be opened because of noise from the street. The coffee machine in the room is so helpful and tasty. The room was so clean and the bed was comfort.”
