“The hotel is beautiful and clean. Location is excellent and staff was excellent. My beef is with parking. I understand parking can be limited in older, downtown locations but when you check in at 5:00 and nothing is available and their only recommendation is a library a block down the street? As if I want to drag luggage a block?”

“We are very satisfied with our stay at the Fairlane. Our room was upgraded to a suite when all we asked for was a room that faced the hustle & bustle of the streets below. The staff at the Fairlane Hotel was very accommodating with some requests, our questions, and anything else we needed. The suite was very clean and supplied with ample linens. The bagel shop located in the hotel was great! We even purchased bagels to return home with. We will definitely book here again! Thank you, Fairlane Hotel.”

“They have certainly upped their game recently. I stay here several times a year always in January, February and March. Last year was a little rough for them and I but, we are talking about my 2024 stay. First, Frederick at the front desk (I later caught him sticking the bar) is efficient, professional and kind. My room was superbly serviced each day. 8 and Sand is one if the best hotel bars around. I didn’t eat at Bishop’s this time but had been solid in the past. Location is spot on as it is on the Trolley line and close to all the treasures of South Main. Civil Rights Museum is only a couple blocks away. Directly across the street is the best dive bars anywhere, Earnestine & Hazel’s.”
