“WOW, what a highlight of our 2-week trip through Italy & Switzerland. Going to Elba Island is one of the best decisions we've ever made, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay than Hotel Baia Imperiale. The room was incredibly comfortable – we had a lovely deck that looked out over the ocean, lots of closet space (so many hangers!) and a big shower. It seemed like the room had been recently renovated. Most of all, the staff was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we checked in, every experience with the staff was beyond amazing. The included breakfast is fantastic and we decided to have dinner in the dining room on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. This is a very service-first oriented place and they're at the top of their game. Pacos and Massimo were fantastic servers and the main manager (I feel bad we didn't get his name) was just fantastic – he takes his job very seriously and ensures his staff provide the best service possible. I can't say enough good things about the staff. And of course, the BEACH. Beautiful, crystal clear waters. We rented two loungers and an umbrella for about 30 euros and it was worth every euro. We both wish we'd had one more day on Elba and at Hotel Baia Imperiale, but we'll just have to wait until next time!”
