“👍 Reception: The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the receptionist Daniela provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. 👍 Awesome Spa Areas: The spa areas at Hotel Gassenhof are a true oasis of relaxation. The variety of saunas, pools, and relaxation rooms were exceptional. 👍 Great Food: The hotel's culinary offerings were a delightful surprise. From breakfast to dinner, the food was not just delicious but also beautifully presented. The restaurant staff especially Rameez & Jens were attentive and ensured that every meal was a culinary adventure. 👍 Nice Aperos Organized by the Owners: The personal touch of the owners Manni & Stefan, who hosted aperitifs for guests, was a special highlight. It allowed for a sense of community and a chance to meet fellow travelers in a warm and convivial atmosphere 👍 Good Hiking Offer: For nature enthusiasts, the hotel's location offers access to some nice hiking trails, with fantastic guides Sandra and Walther. 👍 Nice Brewery: The on-site brewery was a unique touch. We had the chance to savor some excellent, locally brewed beers, and gins which added to the overall experience of staying at Gassenhof. 👍 Efficient Cleaning: One thing that stood out was the daily room cleaning service. The staff's attention to detail ensured that our room remained clean and inviting throughout our stay. It was reassuring to know that the team at Gassenhof takes cleanliness seriously. 👍 Dog-Friendly: we had our furry companion with us on this trip, and we was delighted to find that the hotel is truly dog-friendly. They not only accommodated our pet but also had dedicated areas and services for our four-legged friends. ❗Improvement Suggestion: If there's one area for improvement, it would be to encourage a "digital detox" in the spa areas. While the spa is meant for relaxation, some guests were phoning loudly and taking pictures in the sauna, which disrupted the tranquil and private atmosphere. Implementing a policy to discourage this behavior would ensure an even more peaceful experience for all guests.”

“Amazing location, awesome indoor/outdoor swimming pool. Rooms are a decent size and priced very fairly. Only downside would be the restaurant area having no atmosphere or styled like other areas of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“Beautiful hotel with many amenities in a lovely location. Not sure why this is not considered a 5-star hotel. Very comfortable and nice rooms, wonderful meals, staff were exceptional. My husband used the pools and spa and really enjoyed them. We were there for 4 days in September for hiking in the Dolomites. Definitely want to return for skiing in the winter!”

“One of the best experiences of my life. The location is great with stunning view. The properties are well maintained with lots of facilities you d ever need. The food is great both breakfast and dinner and even more varieties and probably better quality that most of the 5* international hotel chains. Moreover, the hospitality from the owner makes you feel like home and very comforting. Will definitely come back again for ski season.”

“We had dinner at this hotel/restaurant while staying in Tramin for the week. The expectations were high due to the many reviews all spectacular. We have been accepted although it was late already (many thanks for the flexibility) and we ordered the locally produced Lagrein wine, together with a tris of Knödel, followed by lamb and beef cheek. Really enjoyed both food and wine, especially the cheek was super tender. Overall bill 100€, that's fair, maybe a bit on the high end, but that's I guess everywhere in the Tramin area. Recommended to anyone who wants to spoil him/herself with a tasty meal and wine selection in a nice environment in the city centre”

The excellent care kindness,professionality, efficiency and availability "all wrapped up in one" from all the staff was incredibly outstanding! The excellence and inventive ideas from the cuisine (Chef Youss) to housekeeping where finding the bed covers in a heart shape with tiny flowers upon them and each day a different decor has left a magical and sweet sensation of caring. “This hotel made what would have been a stressful trip amazing. The flight into Italy was diverted and so my arrival time was seriously delayed. Arriving late, tired and surprisingly wet from rain the reception was waiting and ready to get me situated. This hotel is a family business that makes you feel at home. Easy walking distance from the city center and along the river it gives you beautiful views and a quaint atmosphere. I would love to stay here longer and hope to do so again soon.”

“I'm still thinking about this place 🤤 This is probably the best Hotel I've ever stayed at considering service, price, quality of infrastructures and especially the Cuisine! Personnel is very attentive and competent, always with a smile and ready to help and anticipate your needs. Thank you all for everything you have done! All the facilities (2 jacuzzi, 5 pools, saunas, massages etc) are well maintained, new and accessible, meaning they are never overcrowded. There are also daily activities, from yoga to excursions on foot and on bikes. The rooms are cleaned daily and some of them have a spectacular view. Nothing beats waking up with a view on snowy mountains! Last but not least the restaurant. We are talking about Michelin Stars level! Great variety, always an option for meat/fish/vegetarian. High quality of ingredients, locally sourced when possible, taste was always balanced. Never too spicy, never too salty, never too sugary. The desserts were to die for! Please do yourself a favour and take the half board, you won't regret! I will definitely come back in summer to enjoy a different kind of experience, sure that all the highlights of the place will always be there. Hats of to this family business, I wish them all the best!”
