“Nice hotel close to the beach with lots of restaurants nearby but still very relaxed and quiet. The reception and hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of fresh fruits, bread, pastries, cheese and meat. You can make your own waffles so it's always nice and fresh. We had a very relaxed stay.”

“Nice hotel all in all, with friendly personal. In my eyes, however, it should be no more than a 3-star hotel. There is nothing special that elevates this hotel above the other. Second disappointment: I had issues while booking. I had booked way in advance via Booking.com but I kept getting emails stating that my credit card was invalid (it was not). Every time I sent a message to the hotel, and every time they answered that it was all OK. But the next day I would receive another such message about the invalid credit card (two different credit cards were both very valid). Finally, a few minutes after having checked in physically and without issues at the hotel, I got a cancelation of my booking from the hotel via Booking.com. My guess is that the hotel wanted to save the fees they should have paid at Booking.com. I paid exactly the same as in my booking, but if I would have had any issue (noise, complaining, change of room, etc) it would have been me against them, since Booking.com was not involved anymore. This gave me a bad taste, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel.”

“Hotel does not provide airport shuttle despite listing as one of the features (i have tried to order shuttle before trip via phone and the answer was that hotel does not provide the service, and during stay i have tried to reserve transportation multiple times, but answer was that it is only available to train station). If you arrive by airport which is approx 5 km from hotel, you have 2 options taxi which ripps you off taking 45€ for very short ride and there is high chance you will not get it or public transport which requires either to walk with your luggage in +35 degress almost a kilometer or requires to change multiple lines.”

“The first time I stayed at this hotel was 49 years ago and the staff are still as friendly and attentive to you as they were then. A lot has change with the hotel as you can imagine since I first stayed here but the welcoming atmosphere has not changed. From Paola on reception Davide at the bar and all the other staff members nothing was to much trouble for them, even arranging the taxi to and from the airport. There was always something new to try at breakfast which sets this hotel apart from all the others and that 90% of the food and drink they use in the hotel is locally sourced. The rooms are spotless and were always made up promptly each morning. The location is excellent close to restaurants shops and of course the stop for the land train. The pool is an adequate size for the hotel and I like that you are not able to reserve your sun beds or leave your towels on them and you pop out for a couple of hours. Very fair I think. Looking forward to me visit next year.”

“We stayed here for one week with my boyfried for our holiday in Italy. Hotel is really nice, with great location in city center, beach, all restaurants and bars are literally 2-3 minutes walking from hotel. Breakfast - amazing! One of the best that I experienced in past few years. Room was cleaned daily, every day was perfect! One of disappoitments was that apart from reception, nobody from hotel staff spoke English and they refused to speak in English despite the fact, they understood. One last thing if you are using parking, it’s not 50m from hotel as it’s said on booking, it’s about 5 min walk from hotel.”

“Very conveniently located near the station and main centres of Ricchione. Very friendly staff, esp Lorenzo at reception and Ina at breakfast. The rooms are very clean and tidy, and the grounds are kept beautifully and a nice swimming pool, though not heated. Breakfast was one of the best i have had abroad, loads of choice and excellent quality. As you are near the station you can hear the trains and announcements when outside but at night you don't here them at all. we had a lovely stay and would definitely go back.”

“Stayed at this hotel in 1968/9 ( can't remember exactly). There's been an addition of the escape " tower" on the side of the building. I seem to recall that the Hotel President was just across the road but looks like it was pulled down and they relocated. I've got a picture of me as an 8 year old, in a kids dinghy, paddling in the pool! Must ho back one day!”

“Honestly , was expecting less but I was suprise with the big room and big balconies. Room is very clean , so as the bathroom. Food is plentiful and good. There’s a lot of selection on the menu whether you prefer fish or meat.Best part for me are their antipasti, but a little let down with their breakfast. Parking is also good, some have cover and some are not. Additionally you can also eat outside and the center and the beach is very close to the hotel. Highly recommended.”

“The hotel location is awesome: near the sea, 5 minutes walking distance from the center, in a way the noise coming from the late night bars won't bother your sleep. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is quite good, even if I would have preferred home-made pastries other than packaged ones. I didn't appreciate the rooms quality: the rooms are very small (it fits just the bed), considering also the bed is too short for people like me tall more than 1.85 cm, and the furnishing is quite old. The worst thing is the bathroom, which is very very small and there is no shower box, just a tent which divides the shower part of the bathroom. Considering the overall bathroom is no more than 1x1.5 square meeters, the shower part is less than a half this square. Considering this is a 4* hotel, the rooms are far from the 4* standards. If you seek comfort, this is not a good choice”
