“Fabulous hotel! Service is really meeting exceptions for the standard and reputation. Celine from front desk as well as Victor the Concierge made our stay memorable. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, the breakfast are delicious and really offering a nice choice of options .. location is perfect for sightseeing or business which was my case. Restaurants close by, entertainment and shopping nearby too. The only minus would be the metro noise cutting off our sleep early morning when the room is on the street side. We may ask for another room but not the 234 next time! Thanks for an amazing stay”

“This place is a blessing. My girlfriend and I took a trip here back in April. The hotel was beautiful, the location was perfect and the staff were outstanding. I took my girlfriend to Paris to propose and the night I was going to propose at another location, a complication occurred to where I couldn’t in the area I intended. I contacted the hotel staff to ask for help and they acting so quickly and efficiently and helped me create a place to propose in the hotel. Without their help, I would not have been able to pull off my proposal. I owe them so much gratitude for making me and my (now) fiancé’s dreams come true.”

“Location was excellent but rooms are in great need to be updated. Carpets were dirty. very outdated. Bathroom located on second level. Would be nice if there was at least a toilet on first level. The bathroom was very outdated. Couldn't get shower head to work properly. The toilet was in a separate area and so small that we had to climb over toilet to close door. Would not recommend staying here. Pricey and in great need for renovation.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at San regis in Paris. Marie-Catherine in particular was so helpful in showing us around and helping us make arrangements. The hotel is a gorgeous mix of historic building with modern amenities, and the most comfortable bed we had all trip! They really did a great job in making our honeymoon special, with personal touches and extremely responsive service. We can’t wait to come back! As Americans, we were a bit nervous about European hotels, but this was perfect! There was a large, very comfy king sized bed, air conditioning that worked well during the heatwave (85 degrees F) and US outlets so we didn’t even need all of our converters! They made our stay so comfortable!”

“Such a great hotel to stay at! Off the beaten path and I’m looking forward to staying again!! Great service and the staff look to make your stay perfect. My only two gripes are we purchased a box of treats but the instructions didn’t match what was inside and the staff didn’t know what was included in the box. We literally spent 10-15 mins trying to figure it out but couldn’t. The other issue is the tub only fills up with a small amount of water even when you use the two person setting. The only way around this is to use the shower water to fill it up but we spent 20 mins trying to figure out the tub controls because the instruction videos don’t match the controls. Breakfast is fantastic and the spa/ massage is great. Probably the best massage I’ve ever had in my life.”

From delightful and welcoming breakfast service to housekeeping, the staff was graciously accommodating. I would also single out the generous and brilliant performance of the Concierge, Alexandra, who not only gave wise counsel and bookings for outstanding restaurants, but helped (far beyond the call of duty) to straighten out an airline reservation that would have had dire consequences if multi-lingual assistance (and patience) had not been provided. We will happily return.”

“I am a firm believer that a 5 star hotel is all about the quality of the people above all things. Hotel Vernet is a delightful hidden gem in the heart of Paris. We stayed there in the midst of Fashion Week and it felt like we were staying with friends/family. First - it is a fabulous location right off the Champs Elysee. Second, it is a beautiful property that is made to host photo shoots. Third, the food and service are excellent. But above all, the people are just tremendous. From the valet, concierge, to the front desk, to housekeeping, to the management team, these are just genuinely nice people committed to giving you a 5 star experience. They were so much fun, we missed them after we left! They will always be my first choice when visiting Paris.”

It's in a great area of Paris but on a quiet street so there is very little noise. The room was incredibly comfortable and I slept very well. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. “This is absolutely by no means a 5 star hotel. We were thoroughly disappointed in our stay. We had the family suite which faced their “courtyard” which is all buildings and concrete. We were under the impression the rooms would be connecting but it’s 2 rooms in the corner of the hotel. We stayed 8 nights and had to ask daily to change our sheets and dirty towels! They would hang up dirty robes and towels that we placed on the floor! So disgusting. One day we returned to our room at 4:30 pm and the housekeeper was incredibly hostile and rude and told us to leave and she’s been busy cleaning 30 other rooms and to wait in the lobby & upon return our robes were gone and the room was half clean. Also one of our rooms smelled of sewage throughout the entire stay, it was horrific. The toilet malfunctioned and we called for a repair the guy that checks people in came up to fix it and made the smell worse. When you pay for a 5 star hotel there are certain standards, for example, someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, not once did they open the door & on occasion they would greet us. The concierge was very kind but useless. We asked for specific reservations and he could only make 1 and the 1 he made was at a restaurant known for Eiffel Tower views and he made the reservation downstairs instead of the terrace with a view so we didn’t even get to see the Eiffel Tower! The only staff that was kind and accommodating were the 2 gentlemen at the breakfast buffet. Would never ever stay here again.”

“I would give 10 stars if possible. Its a once in a lifetime experience. We stayed in the Madame de Stael suite. We went with my parents and two daughters (total of 6) for one night which is really all you need, though I would happily stay for ever. I am fortunate that I have stayed in many amazing hotels in my lifetime, but absolutely nothing compares to this hotel. From the incredibly friendly staff, to the luxurious rooms/bedding and setting, it is truly an experience none of us will forget. The highlight of course is the access to Versaille, and while it was rainy and cold during our visit (January) it did not take away from the experience. To say the hotel makes you feel like royalty is an understatement. Getting used to be being a civilian again is the challenge! If I had to list all of the little things that makes this place so amazing it would fill up a multiple page review, and take some of the fun out of the experience. If you can close your eyes when swiping the credit card, do it! Yes, it is ridiculously expensive, but my daughters will be talking about our stay for the rest of their life.”
