“The Good: The Hotel is in a great location, and it is very elegant. The room was a good size and beautiful, and the beds were comfortable. We had a few requests from the concierge, and they were very nice and helpful. The pool area was amazing, with a very nice jacuzzi. The bellman who took our bags was one of the nicest employees of the hotel, along with the housekeeper who took care of our room. The Bad: Several of the staff are rude and haughty. We asked for some items from the tall young man at the front desk; he totally ignored our request. Nothing was ever done. He did, however, correct my German. Gee, thanks. At the lobby bar, the prices are beyond ridiculous (even water cost over 12 Euros), and the staff was also very arrogant and dismissive, UNTIL it was time to pay! Then they practically chased us down, not realizing that we charged it to the room. Apparently, they didn't think we looked like typical hotel guests. The bathroom was great, but the shower stall had barely enough room to turn around, there was no shelf for shampoo, etc., (only a bench where everything got wet), and the water temp was hot then cold, never just right. Conclusion: Would I stay here again or recommend this hotel based on my experience: No.”

“In general, the experience is good. The reception is good and the check-in/out process is smooth. The gym is not bad though a bit small. but some details need to be taken care. * I like the old style rooms, but the facilities should be updated. * It's nice to have a welcome note, but please check the guest's name carefully - at least mine is obviously for another guest.”
