I had lost the last set of glasses from them sadly - I had never had seen so well as with that set of glasses! The Apollo team is very competent assessing what type of glasses are needed - better than the eye doctor in Singapore where I live. They are patient and super friendly. I had toyed with getting some fancy frames in Berlin, but their process was so complicated - difficult about making an appointment etc. At Apollo you can just walk in - they are happy to have you as a customer and will try their very best to be accommodating. Highly, highly recommended!”

“We had received a voucher for the garden in Sontheim. We recently redeemed it in the restaurant there. And we have to say: Rarely eaten so well. The rump steak and the onion roast were very well roasted and seasoned. The spaetzle, scraped by myself, had a great consistency. Unfortunately, there is no salad buffet during Corona times, but the salad plate that was served was very nice and plentiful. The potato salad deserves a special mention, you can't do better than that. The rump steak was listed as 220 grams on the menu, but in reality it was at least 350 grams of the best quality. Likewise the roast, the portion was also quite large. And all at a good price-performance ratio. We will be back definitely.”

“Beautiful wool .. ordered online more often. But now received very bad service. Ordered 2x 100gr so that I can make 2 socks from it... but now it is rolled up with 2 equal threads. The whole sphere. (The other ball is just single thread.) So you have to unwind and roll up 2 balls again at the same time. I deliberately ordered 2 of the same balls of 100 g because I wanted to make the same socks size 46 and they are always mixed up. And being identical isn't going to work now either. Communicating this and responding well can happen is part of it. I often order from wool stores but have never experienced this. And it takes so much work to unwind them. A waste of my time and energy. No empathy at all. I even stopped to take it apart, what a rotten job... beautiful wool but crappy service. Really bummed about it.”
