“Called for help. All I needed was someone to jump my battery. They told me there was no one to help me and that I should try again tomorrow. What am I paying AAA for? There’s no one available to do the most basic, the simplest form of auto repair? I have used their service 3 times in the entire 3 years that I have been a customer. They got real petty with me on the phone, talking about this is the last time that I can call them for help. They told me that if I needed someone to jump my battery tonight, that I needed to find the person myself and then jump through all kinds of hoops, online and over the phone, to submit the invoice to AAA for them to reimburse me. What a scam. They should change their name from AAA to C-. I don’t even understand how there is no one available to jump a battery. How is it possible to get a tow somewhere, but not a simple jump? The math isn’t adding up”

“Overall It’s ok. . Lots of turnover so there is never really that feeling of friendliness I get at other financial institutions when you get to know the staff. The H in ghs must stand for hold, as they put a hold on items other financial institutions hold for a day. An official check from a neighboring credit union (visions) gets a 5 day hold which ends up being a week with weekends. All in all ok, I’ve been there so long it’s just easier not to change all my autopays I set up long ago. They also used local contractors for work at their one branch which I liked seeing. Also you have to “order” over 5k in cash. Must be a hold on that too.”

“Just got denied a Home Equity Line of Credit. My first denial of credit in as far back as I can remember. Been doing business with this Bank for about 25 years(savings, checking and small loans). My credit is good to excellent, my home is almost 70% percent paid off and most of the Line of Credit was for consolidation purposes, which was about 10% of my homes value. Really don't understand how with all said, how a secured line of credit was denied. Especially when I know I qualify for an unsecured loan. Just put my information into lending tree and I'm being inundated with offers. Over 25 years and no line of credit. Two minutes online and I'm approved.(Update: As per response below, I was contacted by email on the 5th. Told they would "review" and contact me. May 9th still no response.)(Update May 16th. No contact yet. No follow up)Even after I sent an email.”
