“Great bike rental near Centraal Station, we hired Sparta granny's with handbrakes for 2 days and had no issues. I emailed in advance to reserve helmets at a small cost. Upon arrival you will be given the locks and the staff will fit you up with a bike. If it is your first time cycling in the Netherlands they will teach you the basics. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The bikes don't look to "Touristy" so you will fit in like a local!”

“Beautiful dune area. One third of the 600 ha is accessible to visitors, but bring boots if you want to go full circle on the track: inundations can keep you from continuing the path and in such a case there is no other option but to backtrack the same route back to the entrance. Lots and lots of birds. We didn't see any swans as the name of the area would suggest, but we did see plenty of nesting cormorants, grebes, various ducks and reed birds. We heard the call of the bittern, but it stands to reason that we didn't see it.”

“We had a great time here, looks like a beautiful traditional beach “tent”. And the service is great, and the food is really fresh and good. A place to come back to. Today we had the Scampi’s and the Salmon and two wonderful deserts. In one word….. “Fantastic”. The atmosphere is really great with the view over the ocean is great.”

“This is our first visit to the playground in 2023 ! We visited a few times last year and my son really enjoyed playing there. It was crowded today ( Sunday ) but there are chairs which you can take and find a good spot to sit under the sun or shade ( there are lots of trees). It's a good playground with lots of rides for kids and it is managed really well. You can spend your entire day here with you kid and I can assure that you kid will have fun. There is place to park you car or bike outside and the entry fee is literally nothing ( euro 1.25 per person I think ) Over all it's a good place if you are looking for a good playground for spend some time during the holidays.”
