Go Karting Montgomery

9033 Wares Ferry Rd, Montgomery, AL 36117, United States

“We were looking for a place to mini golf with our young daughter and we gave this place a try. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's not worth the money. This is a very strange place. I wasn't sure what we were walking into since there were eye glasses and exam in the same warehouse looking building. It's cheaper to pay in cash than use a card. There is a $2 surcharge added on. The staff was fine. You had to sign a waiver even just to play mini golf which I found odd. It was $12 per person for mini golf and most places let kids under 3 play for free, NOT HERE!! There were only 9 holes and you could play for 30 minutes. You didn't need 30 minutes. This is the worst course ever. You could move pieces on the course and there were extra holes on some of them. There was no lock on the bathroom door. There was an arcade in the back with most not turned on. They are coin operated, quarters are needed.”

“I went for my 21st birthday and did the tandem skydive with Winston and it was the most incredible experience i’ve ever had! He seemed truly excited to share the skydive with me and made the whole experience so chill. Everyone was so nice and informative and updated me on everything they were doing. Shout out to Todd Beam for the great camera work. The video turned out great and truly captured the whole amazing experience in a 5 minute video. The vibes were great and I had so much fun! I totally recommend this place to any and everyone!!”

Lake Lurleen State Park

“We stay here each Thanksgiving holiday. Needs a renovation! Pot holes on roads everywhere. Limited sewer sites. Other than those two minor things it is a really nice campground. They have started doing a nice job decorating for Christmas with lights and decorations all over the park.”

Orange Beach Waterfront Park

“What a great park! The boys and I went to find a playground and scout out fishing spots. This place has both, as well as two sets of bathrooms to use and multiple picnic shelters. The playground area is fenced in, and the equipment is relatively new. They have the soft rubber floor, which is great when you have kids that fall a lot. There is a massive pier to fish on, and there are cutting boards to clean your fish. I'm not sure what species of fish to expect here, I will say I saw evidence of fairly large fish. Will update after we fish it.”

Hudson Marina Fishing, Pirateship, Dolphins And Watersports
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Open until 08:00 PM

4575 S Wilson Blvd, Orange Beach, AL 36561, United States

“Went on the 4 hour fishing trip. The staff was great. The only issue was the lines getting tangled with others onboard the boat and ended up breaking and most of the poles could not be used because they had no hooks or sinkers from previous trip. Other than that it was great and caught plenty of fish.”

Birmingham Crossplex

2340 Crossplex Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35208, United States

“Parking lot was full, because they had 3 different events going at the same time, we had to walk from the library down the street, across the parking lot in the rain. Only good thing about that we didn't have to pay the ridiculous parking fee and then have to pay to get in. It was 11:00am right at lunch time, but they had already ran out of chicken tenders and fries. The chicken sandwich and the burger were not good at all. But what can you expect from Alabama...Just kidding. :) It is a nice facility and they do keep the bathrooms clean, and most of the staff were nice.”

Rtj Golf Trail At Grand National

3000 Robert Trent Jones Trail, Opelika, AL 36801, United States

“Having played 10 of the 11 RTJ Trail Sites, the Grand National is one of my favorites. Like most all other sites, the Lakes course is challenging and beautiful.. But for some reason, Grand National has probably the nicest and most professional people working here. The facilities are superb and the staff are wonderful.”

Planet Fitness

“The gym is unintimidating and I am free to workout as I please. There really isn't much socializing and individuals are attending to their workouts. The atmosphere is well suited to my need to focus and to optimize my time at the gym.”

Barber Marina

“Not only a marina but a fun place to go on a hunt for different sculptures for free. Some you can see from the street. Others you have to park on the side of the street or in parking area nearby and walk (not far) to see. You can tell where they are by the paths created by others. Some areas have no trespassing signs posted so be aware of that. Otherwise, go and check it out and you'll find something interesting. The hardest one to find was the Knights in the Woods. But Google can get you there if you search for the names of the different sculptures. Unfortunately, I didn't have service in the area and I had only Googled a couple prior to arriving. So, the next hardest one which I kept passing up, was the Brontosaurus. It's on the opposite side of the street from the other dinosaurs down a bit once you pass the T-Rex. Look for the path into the Woods. Happy hunting.”
