“Beautiful park with an awesome lake and tall majestic pines. The shower house in our campground (#1) had laundry facilities and a sweet screened in porch. The only downside was that the picnic table and fire rings for our spot were on the opposite end of the trailer from the door and awning.”

“This park would get 5 stars if they keep up better with the sewer sites. We booked a camp site that has sewer dump to make our leaving morning easier. But the sewer was full, so we had to go to the park dump station. The roads in the park are very narrow and have no place safely to disconnect the toll vehicle. The view is great, not too far from the freeway and only a short drive to a Cafe Du Monde. I didn't get to check out their showers, but the building look nice from the outside.”

“Great park! Enjoyed the football game. Remember to bring your chair if you want to sit by the field. The bleachers are not on the sides of the field. No. 2 that our game was on bleachers were in an end zone.”

“This was a fun stop on a family vacation. My kids (7 and 9) really enjoyed it. We were there during the winter, so gators were not active. They were still around, just not doing anything and not feeding. Lots of other animals to interact with and see. It wasn’t very busy, so the stop was pretty stress free and interesting. Staff were very helpful and informative. Some of the information posters and the cage glass were hard to see through as there was a lot of hard water build up. Bathrooms were a little run down.”

“It used to be a very nice course. Zero maintenance since my last visit in 2018. Greens were ripped, torn and worn. The water features are now all inoperable but not drained all way. Staff were not engaged and just kept their heads down in their phones.”
