“We visited Shelter gardens during their Winter Wonderland event. The evening Christmas lighting was a feast to the eyes. Kids will enjoy them a lot. It was very cold, but all in all, a good experience to have. They also had hot coffee available just outside the gardens.”

“Went to Hawn state park October 14, 2023. Had a great time hiking the pickle creek trail, the trail was well marked. I got to see cool rock formations, giant boulders and small waterfalls and cascades. I see why a lot of people like this park. I’ll have to come back here to do the whispering pine trail. Highly recommend visiting!”

“I did my tandem with Bailey. She was awesome. She was very thorough and fun! All my buddies said this was the place they had been to and loved and I enjoyed skydiving more than I expected to. I did find Aaron to be a little over the top and it would be nice for there to be more clear direction from the parking lot to the building but still worthy of 5 stars.”

“I love it here. So peaceful. The place is huge, so you can go multiple times and still have all kinds of places to visit. The roads are mostly all grave, so be prepared for that for your car. The place is extremely well maintained. There are out houses everywhere, but also actual bathrooms in the front next to the bait shop.”

“There’s an outstanding 3.8 mile walking/biking trail that is paved around Creve Coeur. This trek is 98% flat and you will pass Sailboat Cove, Dripping Falls, Creve Coeur Water Rentals, picnic shelters, lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. I walk this path frequently with one of my brother-in-laws. We see people walking their pets and parents pushing strollers. To avoid the crowds go during the week. There are two restrooms, one is at Sailboat Cove and the other is near Creve Coeur Lake Water Rentals.”

“This place is an oasis. My husband fishes and this place makes it pretty darn easy and fun. I don't fish, but love eating the catches and reading or walking for miles with no cell phone coverage. Just quiet. Plus, the food at the Lodge is delicious! We always get food service there and this time we had a breakfast hash Saturday morning that I will dream about... The rooms run the gamut: they've got a few motel style rooms that are just ok, but if you stay in a Suite, it lives up to the name. The houses at Ralph's Ridge are even nicer (but find a group of 6 or so to split the cost).”

“We rented a great boat here June 2023 and spent a fabulous day on Table Rock Lake. The staff was great explaining everything even though we are familiar with boats. The boat was great and they had a large variety for anything you may need. We simply called the night before and were able to get something on a Monday. Probably call ahead for a weekend rental. The price was way cheaper than us hauling our boat down 10 hours. Money well spent! would highly recommend this place if you want a great day on the lake!”
