Open until 09:00 PM

740 Hyde Park Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87501, United States

“Nice trails, and the camping spots look great-well maintained and with sturdy looking shelters for the picnic tables. As a first time visitor coming for just a day it was hard to figure out where to park (visitor center and lodge seem closed for renovations currently) but eventually we found a spot on the side of the road and a trail. Waterfall looks like it would be lovely after some more rain!”

Bluewater Lake State Park

Open until 09:00 PM

30 Bluewater State Park Road, Prewitt, NM 87045, United States

“Loved this lake and campground. Turns are a little tight around the loops but well worth it for the outdoor experience. Electric and water are available. Wild horses roam the area. High elevation so cool in the summer! Going back next year! 4 stars due to cleanliness of toilets but use our own anyway!”

Clayton Lake State Park And Dinosaur Trackways
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

141 Clayton Lake Rd, Clayton, NM 88415, United States

“Absolutely cannot beat the price for this park! Spot was pretty level. Long enough for truck and travel trailer but not much else. Our spot (E2) was a very tight turn. Dinosaur tracks are very cool. Bath facilities were decent. Incredibly dark skies for stargazing if you're interested in that. Saw some pronghorn antelope on the drive out.”

Carlsbad Water Park
4.4
( 8 reviews )

708 Park Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220, United States

“Beautiful park fun and relaxing for the whole family. I was there for the first time for the 4th of July celebration. We were enjoying it so much until a scary storm surprised us all. However, we stayed for the fireworks, it was awesome, probably one of the best fireworks displays I've ever seen. Although it was a long unpleasant wait to get out of the parking lot when the show was over, overall, the whole experience and park was worth it. I'll definitely be back.”

Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 04:00 PM

Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 4200 E Pine Lodge Rd, Roswell, NM 88201, United States

“Very scenic place to come and enjoy some peace and quiet and to slow down and look around at what's around you. There's a 6 mile loop that you can drive thru and along the way there's multiple place to stop with some trails and lookouts. There's also trails near the entrance, like the butterfly trail, which I thought were great. I also saw lots of different kinds of birds throughout the reserve. It's not a busy place, so you can really take your time and enjoy yourself.”

Pajarito Mountain Ski Area
4.5
( 8 reviews )

397 Camp May Rd, Los Alamos, NM 87544, United States

“Ride is 15 minutes to Pajarito. Great lifts. Not crowded. Easy online registration. Easy food order online. They made it fun and easy.”
