They took the time to find items within my price range and that fit me perfectly. I was able to try on several helmets and test drive the bike that was recommended. They gave us time to browse/ discuss and without pushing the "sale". I'm excited for the weather to warm up and take my new bike out for a real ride!”

“Been here a few times over the last month. EVERY time I’ve went the customer service has been TERRIBLE. First time I sat there for over 20 min JUST to purchase ammo while the staff was joking around amongst each other. The second time I was coming in to fill out paperwork for an online order. Once again I sat around patiently because staff was assisting other customers. Meanwhile I saw a guy sitting on the computer look up at me twice but never got up to help. After 30 minutes one of the employees asked if I needed help while still assisting another customer. When I told her yes, she said apologized and said that she would get someone. Lo and behold she told the SAME guy that made eye contact with me TWICE that I needed assistance and he got up and came right over. The LAST time I went up there, it was to pickup my online purchase after my background check which NO ONE called to notify me of. When I got there 2 customers were in the store with 4 employees helping them. Or at least I thought. Come to find out only one guy was making a purchase while the other one, along with the three other employees were chatting it up about past experiences. I get it…. Store’s empty so there’s time to sit around and chat. No way on EARTH Should that be happening while myself as well as another waiting customer are waiting (that magic number again) 20 minutes for assistance. The guy waiting with me had enough and said he’d just go somewhere else and I wished I COULD have. It took the same lady that got me help a couple days earlier, to come from the back and FINALLY get the ball rolling on getting me outta there. Will NEVER visit this location again.”

“This park is so luscious...green and vibrant! The trail enhances the topography of the land it sits on. It's nice to take in the rushing water off the North Shore Channel. It's very well laid out. Just gorgeous.”

“I've spent a lot of time here through out the years. It's clean and the walkable pavement is very smooth. This park has very easy beginners hiking trails and it's a great place to take my dog here with me. Like every forest preserve, there are weirdos there but I've had minimal interactions.”

“This place is so much fun!! I climbed for about a year at Ohio States climbing gym and it was so much fun I wanted to keep climbing over the summer. This gym was super convenient and has so many different routes!! They also offer some clinics like less climbing or belaying, and have fun events almost every week. It’s a little pricey but worth it in my opinion especially with a small student discount. I cant wait to return next summer for all of the new routes. The staff are also always super friendly!”

“The sky tour was beautiful 🚠 open air or enclosed the view is gorgeous 🏞 great for all ages and the whole family. At the top the the Aries lodge and dining with a great outdoor terrace and view of the Mississippi River 🚤 There's also a zip line course available as well as an alpine slide coaster ride 🎢 either are fun for all ages. On weekends the lodge hosts live music and has a bar for wine and spirits 🥂🍻 Overall a great stop whenever in the Grafton Illinois area 🦅”

“Absolutely phenomenal park. There are a couple small fenced areas, and then the larger dog area you enter from the parking lot is fully fenced (trust me, my husky mix and I checked). There's also a separate fenced off swimming hole area (frozen over, now). For any escape-prone or wanderer dogs be aware that I saw two Vizslas easily jump the fence by the watering hole, so it's definitely possible, and the gates headed to the watering hole have a bit of a gap under them where a small or very determined dog could sneak underneath. All in all a superb park and we will absolutely be back!”

“Nice area, nice beach and piers. I saw the Sam Laud ship offloading at the gypsum plant. Big ship at 634 feet. Several working barges for the erosion work by North Point Marina. Michels is a big outfit doing very nice work on the lakefront.”
