“This is not an easy hike before the snow melt. Even after, the trail is covered in gravel in many areas and poorly maintained. But the view is breathtaking, especially on a sunny day. You are facing west, looking over the whole Anchorage, and the mountain range that is part of Lake Clark National Park.”

“This was one of the most fun experiences in Fairbanks. Our guide was Tyrone and he did a fantastic job educating us about the reindeer and how to enjoy the walk with them safely. Don’t misunderstand, the reindeer are sweet and mild tempered animals, but they are large and have antlers, so you do need to stay aware - also, we went when there’s snow on the ground and you’re going up and down hill- so it can be slippery. With that said; make sure you have the right shoes for this tour! You get plenty of time to visit with the reindeer and take pictures, and at the end they give you hot chocolate and homemade cookies. This was just an all-around lovely experience and if we’re ever back in Fairbanks, we’re definitely going again!”

“Five Stars, hands down the best yoga studio on the top of the world (in Alaska)! And in my opinion, just anywhere, because I’ve never felt so at home, welcomed, encouraged, and embraced with knowledge and guidance in my practice as I do here. I believe that I’ve participated in the full array of yoga classes offered, and also joined in on educational opportunities. I love love love the teachers! I’m obsessed with the standard that the studio holds when it comes to what they offer, and I can’t say enough about the atmosphere. I usually get the passes that you can use whenever (so many to use within a year) because my schedule can be so sporadic, but I bought into my first membership recently (last 3 months) and am enjoying it extremely. I can book as many as I’d like, anytime, and even have access to virtual classes when I’m not in town. Of course I respect the terms of canceling if I can’t make it, have to, but all of the costs are fair. I’ve gained so much from my experiences there, can’t put a price on how I feel when I’m going to and leaving from the studio. The high energy I have after class carries me through my day, gracefully and mindfully. I’m very grateful for Anchorage Yoga, as it’s a light in my life, and will forever hold a special place in my heart!”

“My 9 yr old son always has a great time. Raceway can fill up on Saturdays. Renewing the waiver can take awhile especially when you bring a guest that's not your child. As long as you go willing to spend a good 1.5-2hr, it's all good.”

“Really awesome place to hike. Make sure to have proper gear and watch the weather! We climbed off trail to the peak through the snow trails made by others. Pretty hard but worthwhile to hike all the way to the top!! Saw Ptarmigan too!!!”
