Jose Morales Boxing Academy

“I was very nervous about stepping into a dedicated boxing gym, but the anxiety went away after talking for a few minutes with Jose and Dina at the front counter. Taking this leap to invest in my physical health is one of the best decisions I made, and I'm glad I went with this gym. The coaches are knowledgeable in their craft and very patient with new comers. Even the veterans take the time to show you the ropes and give you pointers. I haven't been apart of something like this in years and I want to come back every day to improve my skills and hope to one day get in the ring and spar for real. Believe the reviews, there's no place like this. Update: After two months, I try to come every day. I'm doing two classes a day and I feel amazing. The coaches continue to bring out our best, and push us to be better every time.”

“I love this place. Tried learning how to ski with my 6yr old daughter. My older daughter and son tried snow boarding, both had a blast. Whole day rent, lunch at the near by diner then went back skiing. We had great time no long lines, plenty of space for everyone to ski. Great and friendly coaches and staff. I love to come back.”

Alpenglow Expeditions

1985 Olympic Vly Rd #23, Olympic Valley, CA 96146, United States

“Multi-week trip to Bolivia, and Alpenglow delivered well above my expectations. Great communication, logistics, safety, and food (most important?). The trip was everything I hoped for, and any changes were well managed and only made the team stronger. Great guides, hopefully friends for life, and memories you can’t put a price tag on. Will I work with Alpenglow again on future expeditions and adventures? Absolutely…. and you should too.”

Cave Rock
4.8
( 8 reviews )

1430 Hwy 50, Glenbrook, NV 89413, United States

“Don’t miss this gem! Cave Rock in South Lake Tahoe is a hiking experience that should not be missed. With its moderate difficulty level, stunning views of Lake Tahoe, snowy mountain backdrop, and the thrilling rocky section, it offers us a memorable adventure. Just keep in mind the limited parking situation and plan accordingly. Whether we're avid hikers or simply looking for a picturesque stroll, this trail is sure to leave a lasting impression. Towards the end of the trail, there is a rocky section that adds an element of excitement and adventure. It requires a bit more careful footing and navigation, but the reward is well worth it. The rocky terrain leads to a unique vantage point where we could witness the grandeur of the surroundings up close. Once on the trail, the stunning panoramic views quickly capture your attention. As we made our way along the path, we were treated to breathtaking vistas of the glistening Lake Tahoe. The crystal-clear waters against the backdrop of snowy mountains created a picture-perfect scene that left us in awe. It was truly a photographer's paradise.”

All American Speedway

“This place is a hidden gem of placer county. Located in Roseville at the fairgrounds? The All-American speedway is the go to spot for race fans. This place is a great for a family outing. Has something for everyone. It very convenient, has shade in the grand stands and food and drinks for everyone. Definitely cool to check out the up and coming racer car drivers of the area. Check out the schedule for firework nights. I also recommend the trailer bash! Tons of fun for $20.”

While camping options are limited the picnic grounds and beaches have lots of space available. The cost is $12 for a day pass. Lifeguards are available during season.”

“wish I knew of this place sooner? Why are there bad reviews this place is awesome! Its 27$ per month for unlimited jumping. it is on the smaller side so I can see it being crowded on busy days but we went and it was not too busy and the kids loved it. My kids are 1&5 we will go until we get sick of it 😄 it is month to month charge, they even have massage chairs for the adults.”

Granite Bay Golf Club
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 07:00 AM

9600 Golf Club Dr, Granite Bay, CA 95746, United States

“A friend of mine had her wedding here in late October and it's a beautiful venue! Sadly it sprinkled on her day, but not enough to postpone or stop the special event. Kelly was very on top of everything, from rehearsal to the day of. She was directive and helpful. I hadn't been part of the wedding process in the beginning, but I could definitely tell she had been very helpful for my friend and made coordinating easier for her. The food was delicious and good portions, choice of salmon or beef. The dressing rooms for the bridal parties are down the hall but locked so only the coordinator has the key. The arbor did need to be decorated separately, not by the venue. My friend also designed and did the centerpieces by herself, not sure if the venue provides standard ones or not if you need it. If you're looking for a venue that helps take care of mostly everything, this might be the place for you! Thank you for helping make my friend's wedding special! :)”

Nyack Snow Park
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

41965 Nyack Rd, Emigrant Gap, CA 95715, United States

“Went up here for a day run with my daughter and her best friend and my wife. We had a blast watching him go up and down the hill several times. They wiped out a few times but never got hurt, just fun tumbles in the soft snow. It was 20 bucks to park and no extra fees. The lot staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this for bringing your kids up, especially young ones, to have a good time sledding. There is a gas station and a food mart on site as well, so you can always get snacks or fuel up when you get there if need be for the way down the hill.”
