“We recently got married at the Northwoods Pavilion. We had a small wedding ceremony of about 30 people and a reception with just under 100. Abigail was our event coordinator. She was wonderful to work with and very responsive and informative throughout the entire process. The venue and surrounding areas are beautiful. Even though it is a public park, the pavilion is tucked away where you have enough privacy. It was very affordable and would highly recommend this place for any type of event!”

“Upon visiting this establishment, I was disappointed to find several issues that impacted my experience and raised concerns about the safety and cleanliness of the facility. I have provided a one-star rating due to these significant issues, as I believe that prioritizing child safety is paramount in any establishment. Firstly, I observed multiple broken fixtures within the premises, as evidenced by the picture I have provided. This not only detracted from the overall aesthetic appeal of the place but also posed potential safety hazards. Additionally, there were numerous nails and wood pieces scattered throughout the facility, which could pose a risk, especially to young children. Despite my efforts to address these concerns by picking up the debris and seeking assistance from an associate, I was disappointed to find that the staff was unavailable for an extended period of at least 38 minutes. Furthermore, my disappointment continued when my daughter and I ordered a smoothie, specifically requesting no milk due to her allergy. Unfortunately, our request was not fulfilled, indicating a lack of attention to detail and customer care. This oversight could have had serious consequences for my daughter’s health and safety. It is also disheartening to note that this was not an isolated incident. During a previous visit just a week ago, my family and I had observed the same pieces of food in identical spots on the floor, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning and maintenance practices. In conclusion, I sincerely hope that this establishment takes steps to improve its cleanliness, safety measures, and overall customer care. A cleaner and safer environment, along with more attentive staff, would greatly enhance the experience for all patrons.”

“It was truly a pleasant surprise for me and my wife during our present stay in Atlanta, when our daughter and son-in-law took us around this stunningly beautiful area ... a heaven for nature's lovers. We couldn't believe we were in the middle of the city within the Emory University area. I would call it a 'hidden gem' in Atlanta. It was tranquil, peaceful, and strolling around a serene lake on semi paved pathways was a wonderful experience. My three years old grand daughter too thoroughly enjoyed her walk... and was excited to see plenty of geese and a couple of deers. Would highly recommend a walk over the suspension bridge near the waterfall. Would love to spend some time here every time we visit Atlanta.”

“We have been visiting since my boys were babies. There is a restaurant and a beautiful playground where children can watch the planes land and take off. Anytime we get lucky and meet a pilot there, they talk with my sons and answer their rapid fire questions.”

“This park is a hidden paradise of natural beauty in Atlanta. There are fun trails for walking or biking, flowing creeks, tall, magnificent pines, bridges perfect for selfies with family and friends, meditative places to sit, and wide open green perfect with your dog, or to have a picnic. It's unbelievably beautiful in fall/winter when the leaves change color. You have to see it to believe it.”
