“Good for wild canoe camping. It's open until very late in the season compared to other places. Big platforms on all campsites , clear water 🌊💦 and NO leeches (🤮). Great for swimming (naked or not) One downside is the motorboats are allowed . 👎”

“The name is misleading. It is an area where hunters can legally hunt moose, bears, birds,... heavy logging trucks are crossing it all the time. We tried the hike starting at the visitor center, but had to return because the wooden bridge across a river had been destroyed and was never repaired”
