Kopachuck State Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )

10712 56th St NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98335, United States

“A great beach for exploring at low tide! Soooooo many sand dollars & sea stars. Lots of sea life here. We’ve also seen seals very close to shore. It’s a bit of a trek to the beach, but worth it if you like exploring the intertidal area.”

321 158th Ave SW, Lakebay, WA 98349, United States

“Pretty, nice spot. One time I was there the grass area was full of picnickers. The other it was empty. Both times the beach area was not too crowded for a nice walk. Some big rocks in spots and it can be a little hard to walk on so not a good spot for a wheelchair or walker. But a nice place to walk your dogs. Lots of clamshells and baby crabs everywhere.”

Mt. Rainier Gondola

33914 Crystal Mountain Blvd, Enumclaw, WA 98022, United States

“You can catch some early snow without much rush at Crystal Mt. The ride was pretty smooth. Though we had booked the ticket and parking, there was not much rush and plenty of parking was available. They have buses from parking lot to the base, so you could really park anywhere on any parking lot. We actually drove to parking lot A, B, C and the finally parked in road side and caught a bus. Buses are every 5 min so there is no need to walk at all. If you have to book the parking prefer getting a parking permit for parking lot A, which is the only parking lot that is nearest to base and you don’t have to park in muddy field (rest of the lots are all muddy). Gandola ride fun.. We caught the ride up, stayed for 5 min as none of were prepared for temperature at the top and we don’t know skiing. You need proper gears at the top to even walk around in snow. We got on the next car back to the base. There is low elevation slope at the bottom and rental place at the base which is good for kids to enjoy.”

Spooner Farms In Puyallup

9710 WA-162, Puyallup, WA 98374, United States

“We had a blast. First, we walked through the animal building. They have chickens, a pig with babies, goats, and rabbits. Then we did the corn maze. That was a lot of fun. Just when you thought you knew where you are, you're not. Lol. After the maze, we ate lunch. There are quite a few of food vendors. We had a corn dog, a bucket if French fries and a lemonade. Yummy!! We made our way over to the pumpkin sling and shot some rounds. Such a blast. Finally we made it out to the pumpkin patch and took some pictures and then picked out our pumpkin. I highly suggest to get there early as it get crowed quick. Spooner Farms did a fantastic job.”

Planet Fitness

2217 N Pearl St, Tacoma, WA 98406, United States

“The staff are friendly at the check-in counter and a few front-end people go above and beyond when they see us enter the gym. I have never waited long for a machine since there is plenty of equipment at this location. However, like all gyms there are a few members that hold up machines by playing with their smartphones...ugh!...I just move on to something else. I had rated this facility previously a 4.5 out of 5 stars in cleanliness, but they have made it a priority since I left that review. I now bumped it up to a 4.9! The low monthly fee keeps my membership on going at Planet Fitness.”

Eagle's Pride Golf Course & Simulator

1529 Mounts Rd SW, DuPont, WA 98327, United States

“Beautiful course! I am assuming this course is not for beginners or famiIies. We went with a few other beginners and my two daughters (6 and 8). My daughter's did not play. Showed up and received a bit of attitude about having kids there even though they were allowed and above the age limit. If you are a beginner I wouldn't recommend the course because you will feel rushed. You only get 4 hours to finish the 18 hole. Had fun up until the last 5 holes because the warden kept driving by staring at us. When we finished one of the employees came by and started tapping on his watch while staring at us. Was not pleasant. We weren't holding anyone up. We let people go by who caught up to us. Won't be going back just because it didn't feel inviting for beginners or families.”

Lake Spanaway Golf Course

“I hadn’t played Lake Spanaway in over 15 years. Had the first tee time of the day on a Sunday. Received a great experience in the pro shop. Easy to check in and friendly. Overall the course was in good shape, the greens were great and the areas that shouldn’t be hit off of had been marked by a white line. Plenty of spots could have been better, but overall if you keep the ball in the fairways there won’t be many complaints. Some of the traps weren’t great, went in the edge of one and played it like I was all the way in since I was mainly in sand but there was plenty of grass near it, also terrible stance since the ball didn’t go back into the main area of the trap. I recommend playing the course. The price came to a little over $60 for 18 and a cart. Being the first group of didn’t have to worry about pace of play. There was some sort of tournament later (looked like maybe a scramble). Not sure if we saw the beverage cart because of that or it’s always out early but either way it was great to have it out that early in the morning since it seems most courses don’t.”
