“Great place for pickleball. Twelve courts with lights so one can play morning or night. People are friendly and they have a paddle system to rotate players in and out. On the weekend I went there at 6 am to get some action before it got crowded by 7:45 am. The place is always busy throughout the day. The quality of the courts are very good. Parking is free and near the courts also.”

“Super nice club with lots of tennis courts, pickleball courts, pool tables, fitness area, pools, hot tub, bocce ball, and more. Lots of parking if you live in a driving distance. They have a bar if you’re looking to buy drinks and lay by the pool or get some food with your family. The decorations are very nice and fit well with the overall vibe, and there washrooms are very clean and have showers for people who like to have a rinse after swimming.”

“I have been coming down here for the past 13 years and up until 2 years ago I could walk in pay for a one day or even a month membership with no problem. The last 2 years has been like I’m committing a crime by just coming in for a day or two. Couldn’t use a free pass because I don’t have a Florida license. I have proof of having a residence here which will be permanent in another two years but they didn’t care. When I’m a permanent resident I will be joining another gym.”

“The layout of the course. We can be quite challenging from the tips, and certainly from the blue tees. My latest visit showed the course was in pretty poor shape with many, many weeds in the fairways and generally unattractive conditions. The greens rolled smoothly and well but overall it was a day of fairly slow play and unattractive fairways and tee boxes.”

“Cute little community park tucked out of the way. Lots of tennis courts that see tons of action, baseball field, racquetball courts, basketball, sand volleyball, playground and a lake with walking path. Very enjoyable place for a visit”

“It was our first time to the area and we showed at night with our 4 kids. There was no one working front desk. The hotel was completely closed with no one around. My kids, being from a much more populated area of Florida and had seen maybe too many scary movies were freaked out. I couldn’t get our door locked properly at first and the kids wanted to leave. I texted Taylor (the lady I made our arrangements with) and she contacted the owner and he was there within minutes. He was very nice, showed me to the lock the door 🤦🏻♀️, and out the kids at ease. The room was very nice. It looked freshly painted, had a wonderful screened in patio, and was right next to the boat ramp. There’s plenty of parking for your truck and trailers if coming with boats. Great launch spot. We were only in town for not even 24 hours but we walked around the property and it’s beautiful. It’s old of course being a historic building but it’s being worked on and it has so much character. You have to understand the nature of the area. It seems to be a quiet sleepy town so don’t expect big city things. We will be back when we have more time.”
