“A lovely place to hire a boat and spend 40 mins to an hour going around a lovely oval shaped lake. Friendly staff. Note they only take cash. On the day we went it was €14 for the two of us to hire one boat with a €20 deposit. We had a great time.”

“Great little climbing wall, seems very well setup for children downstairs. Much better than my local wall in England which has nothing for children. Upstairs adult area is relatively small, but had a good selection of routes for all abilities. Perhaps it'd be nice to see some more routes crammed in to offer more choice. I think you might get a bit bored if this was your local wall and went regularly, but it was great when visiting with an hour to spare. All round great experience in Central Paris. Pricing was $15 for a session. Again not bad for a capital city. Had a lovely beer after our climb aswell. Would definitely go again!”

“I’ve already come to two of their classes and still have two more to go!! Both of them were with Emma and my other two will definitely be with her as well! She’s amazing 🤩 Her energy is contagious and makes you challenge yourself! She reminds you to push your limits and put aside your limiting beliefs and thoughts! Her music choice is on point. I love that at the end of her classes she gives you a couple of minutes to stretch and connect with your body and self! Can’t recommend this place, or her, enough. The facilities are well equipped with towels, showers, hairdryers, deodorant, earplugs, water, everything you may need. Most of their classes last 45mins but on Saturdays, they have a one hour long class, at least in Opera, don’t know if the other locations do as well. Phones are not allowed inside the classroom and it’s very nice to have the room be all dark since you don’t feel like comparing yourself or being laughed at when being your first time. The front row bikes are usually saved for frequent customers since you have certain specific moves that you may not get or understand during your first class so it’s easier to follow the others”

“In the stylish realm of French fitness, La Montgolfière stands out as a true work of art and is currently Paris's trendiest gym. It's a unique blend, part social club and part gym, making it a standout choice. At first, I was a bit put off by the small class sizes, but I've come to appreciate the personal attention you receive, something you won't find in most other classes. These classes are more like a fun group experience where members actually talk to each other, a rare and enjoyable feature. The shared area is a cool place to hang out for a few hours before or after your workout. It's a wonder why more gyms don't offer something similar. La Montgolfière also hosts a lot of events, adding to the gym's appeal. The building itself is full of character, spread over three floors. The open layout makes it feel spacious and adds to the social atmosphere. Among the coaches, I particularly enjoyed Virginia, Como, and Ivson. Virginia, in particular, is exceptional at teaching with precision, which greatly improved my form and made the class best I have taken.”

“I was regularly visiting this place because I was staying in the hotel across the street and I was very happy to have found it. It’s a hangout place for locals and was fun to see the same faces everyday. it’s quiet and one can really enjoy dinner and chill all evening there. The food is great and I had fallen in love with the beef carpaccio. The burgers are amazing too! They once had this warm pear pie with chocolate chips and was fabulous but they only had it for one night. They do have different daily specials and also a fixed menu. The wait staff is way friendly and spoke English and I’m glad it was easy to communicate. Special shout to Edouard and Chloe for being very very friendly and accommodating and making the experience very nice. Highly recommended this place in Montparnasse.”
